Small Talk Six: Bedtime Routine

>>  Friday, April 30, 2010

This week on Small Talk Six topic is The last 6 things you do before you close your eyes at night.

Every night, I always have a bed time routine before the clock kicked in at 11 pm. I always make sure that I have done everything before I lay down to rest.

So, here are my six for this week when it comes to bedtime routine.

1. Put my son to bed before me means I always get him ready to sleep like for him to know that it is bed time already. Things to do: brushing his teeth, change his clothes for bed, and read him some bed time stories.

2. Then, I will get ready for bed by taking a shower then wait for a while to dry up my hair or just take a body bath.

3. If not having a bath, take my make up off especially the mascara, then wash my face, brush my teeth and then put some facial moisturizer.

4. If I can't sleep, I always have the Bible with me or a novel by my side to put me on sleep, so reading before bedtime is a part of it.

5. I always drink water before bed time. It seem like a great help when it comes to stuffy nose like mine.

6. Lastly, I cuddle with hubby and sometimes we do make love, if he was at bed before me and already asleep, I always make sure I said I love him and good night to him even though he can't hear me because he's already out!

I think these are all it was, my bedtime routine. Let me hear from you too!

Safe Again...

Last night, I was online for like 3 hours and I have noticed that my laptop is so slow. I wasn’t used to it because my laptop whenever I opened my email, a store online, my face book, everything was fast but last night is unusual. So, I have tried to check what was going on and I noticed that it wasn’t safe at all. My old Mcfee subscription was expired and now I had to buy a new one. So, last night I was browsing online and they cost too much for me even their total protection service. I was browsing for coupons and so glad I have found a link where I saved over $40.00 for a total protection security. I was so glad because I only buy the product at about 50% off.

On the same night, I downloaded the product and after a couple of minutes waiting for it to be installed, I was so convinced. My laptop is faster again and with security I could able to browse online with a doubt because I know I’m secured. I think one of the reasons why laptop is getting so slow when it wasn’t safe because a lot of hackers, threats was trying getting into it and that makes the running so slow because something was blocked. I’m not a computer expert but this is kind of interesting.

Now, I’m safe again and enjoying more browsing and surfing online.

Road Assistance on the Go!

I have seen a lot of movies lately especially on horror, thrilling movies that a family went on a road trip for a vacation and then ended up stranded on the middle of nowhere because their car was broke or has a flat tire and no one is around to help. Unless they brought something to fix their car but of course, we can’t expect that to happen but the question is, what if it will happen in real life? It is going to be possible. A lot of people whom I saw on TV survived with their explicit experiences. I thought I wish there could be somebody to help out just in case if these things occur in real life. Now a days, it could be possible, there’s a company that do motorhome towing as well which helped out those family who had been stranded in case of emergency. Well, I’m so glad that there’s road assistance on the go available and who could help us out.

Tuesday Toot: One More and I'm done!

On Tuesday Toot:

Finally, the third exam for my class on Psychology is over! I'm so happy because one more exam and I'm done with this school semester. I don't have plans to register for summer classes this year but hopefully I could able to register for Fall next couple months. I'm so excited about it though since this time, I'm switching to a different course of career. I hope it will be for the better. I hope I made the right choice.

Anyway, my exam went well last week, Tuesday and I'm so excited for the final exam next two weeks from now. It was an oral presentation though where we would share our circle of life, people in my life basically. It's a very interesting presentation and I can't wait to do mine soon.

Another small accomplishment for me although I'm almost there! Two weeks to go!

High up on the rooftop - look! A falling crayon!

This week on Thursday Thunks:

My oldest demon (aka Demon #1) is in Oklahoma! The musical this weekend. Yep, my kid is a drama geek. Have you ever been in a play or musical? Were you in the drama club in high school?
=Well, we don't have a play or musical club when I was in high school but we do have drama club where you can act and make a certain play. I think I did about two plays and I'm loving it. I think acting is in me.

You are walking down the road and the cops fly by you and stop at the house just a little ways down the street. It's the way you were going to go... do you take a detour to avoid it or do you just keep walking because, hey - you had the idea first! or do you walk by out of complete curiosity?
=I will walk by complete curiosity and to know what was going on.

I drop a green crayon from the roof and Kimber drops a yellow one - which one will grow wings and fly before it hits the ground?
=I think the green one! It's earth day and I guess, green will!

What is the first section of the grocery store you go to? And I know that sentence doesn't sound right, but I don't care.
=Depends on what's on the first thing on the list. It doesn't matter.

Do you like questions that have a yes or no answer or do you like to actually think for yourself and come up with something original?
=Answering with yes or no is fine but always have something to ask in the end such as WHY? So that I could able to think and explain my answer more briefly.

The wall directly in front of you... whats on it?
=A picture...

Sea salt?
Yes, they're better!

420. You know what it is. It's a time, it's a day, it's a way of life. Did you celebrate yesterday?
=No. I was just at home in front of my computer.

Can you read a tape measure?
=yes, why?

The city/town/village that you live in... it's population is.....????
=I don't remember anymore.

If a laptop fell out of the sky do you think you could catch it? And if you did, do you think it's Finders Keepers?
=Yes, I will! I would find a way to catch it.I think so and thanks!

Driving down the highway, driving down the interstate, driving down a dirt road that you are sure goes absolutely nowhere... whats the longest distance you have ever driven in one trip?
=It was in Pennsylvania, I-94 all the way to Connecticut, oh what a long drive! Like on GPS, it will track like 81 miles to go!

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
=Maybe about 100 depends on how big they were.

Ink of your Choice

I have read from online news about how to save money on ink, simply by selecting draft when you print. I thought about this before when the printer came out of the market. A lot of ways to save your ink avoid too much color, if it is an important print then choose draft. My husband thought that this news is already old and I know a lot of people know what draft would do when it comes to saving your ink. Not only by selecting draft option you can enjoy saving your ink but also on buying them at very affordable prices. When you buy a printer ink make sure you have a coupon because by using a coupon you can absolutely saves money. I always used coupon when it comes to buying printer ink. I always go to a certain website where they giving away coupons by mail or even by email. You will never know sometimes they do lots of offer such as free shipping, discounts, and even sale items. Also, you can find wide selection of printer ink whatever printer brand you might have such as Epson, Lexmark, HP, and a lot more. Their printer ink is at very economical price and you will never regret it that’s why, I always enjoy shopping online for printer ink.

All I want for...

>>  Wednesday, April 21, 2010

This weeks question is:

What do you WANT from your boss/job?

= I don't have a job right now like a regular job but I worked online. So, maybe, all I want for my job is for it pays more, more assignments, and more easy tasks to do.

What else do you want this week? Share it all.

= I want to enjoy the rest of the weekend with my family again. We don't know what to do yet but maybe we just stroll at the park, enjoy the rest of the weekend if it's warm enough or what.

I just can't wait for my class to get over soon.

Build Muscle and Lose Weight

My husband has been working out for almost a month now to get ready for his physical exam next month. I wonder if he could get some noxycut this time because I have heard that noxycut is a diet pill supplement for men because it helps them to lose weight and to build up muscles at the same time, but before that I wanted to read some reviews online about this supplement because who knows it might have some side effects. Well, it is hard to find a diet pills nowadays especially when it was not famous, I thought maybe this reviews can be a helpful thing to do prior of buying one.

So, if you are looking for a diet pill for men as well? Then, just visit this website or link above to directly go to the website.

Bonding with In-Laws

This week on Tuesday Toot, I wanted to share about how important it is to have a sister date. Last Monday, my sisters in law and I went out to watch a movie “The Last Song” and then we dine out and then go on with our separate ways in the end of the day. I thought it is really important to develop good bonding with your in laws despite the fact that sometimes some of you had not seeing quite a long time. My sisters in law are just good people and very nice extended family which I never thought I could have. I think I am one of the many who get lucky when it comes to in laws. It is not because I married their brother but they treat me as their one of their girlfriends.

So, here are some of the helpful tips on how to bond with your in laws and be close to them.

A sister-in-law is often a component of the brand new family one takes on with marriage. While a bunch of new relatives may seem awkward, if you can win over your sister-in-law, you've just made a powerful ally in family relations for years to come. Get your sister-in-law to see you as a fun new person instead of a stranger with these tips.

When you treat your new sister-in-law as an individual, you are recognizing her as her own person and not just another relative. She'll probably enjoy answering questions about herself and sharing her interests. Get her opinion on things, from the newest blockbuster movie to the latest election results. Forming your own relationship - and possibly a strong friendship - with your new sister-in-law will strengthen the bond between you.

Don't rely on your spouse to be the messenger between you and your sister-in-law. It's all too easy to rely on your spouse to do all the talking between you. When you are inviting her over for dinner, call her yourself rather than send the message with your spouse. Send her a personal thank you card for something she's done for you and keep track of important things, such as her birthday. Even just calling her on the phone for a chat can go a long way in winning her over.

When a sibling gets married, often the other siblings may feel a little jealous or replaced. When you are polite and respectful, you are giving her time to get used to the idea. You won't be best friends from the first moment, but over time and with the right attitude, you can become very close.

If you find that you and your sister-in-law have something in common, use it to spend time together. Whether you enjoy romantic comedies or you both enjoy hitting early morning yard sales, building your relationship separately from your spouse and your in-laws may just help you win over your new sister-in-law.

This week on Tuesday Tunes' theme is "Radio"

Radio inspired many songs, what is your favorite?
=I have lots of favorite songs one of which is love songs. I find christian music too very inspiring and very easy to listen to. I avoid rock and hard metal songs and even hip-hops, I just don't like them.

Do you still listen to the radio? Why/Why not?
=Yes, I do. Whenever we're at the car, that's the only thing my husband and I can able to use to avoid not to talk to each other for a while, just kidding.

What's your favorite station?
=I like listening to 99.4 Kiss FM I guess for sweet, romantic love songs and 103.5 for christian music.

Are there any songs you discovered on the radio? What are they?
=Yes, yesterday, I listened to 103.5 and I always heard about this song but I don't know the title until the disc jockey was doing a countdown on her show and she mentioned the title of the song. I was so happy since now I knew the title and looking forward to buy a copy of it.

Vitamins for Hubby

My husband had been working out and starts running for miles and miles since last month because he will be having a physical exam next month and he is looking forward to pass the course. So, now he had been working so hard and I’m very happy about it. He has been drinking protein drinks too that I thought it might be a great help to him as well. He had been doing push-ups, sit ups, and running and I thought he might need some best vitamins for men this time. I have found some vitamins for men online and I thought it might be good for him just in case he missed eating breakfast and lunch where it is also a good supplement to get healthy and perfect body fit. I guess, I have to tell him about it.

Procrastination Attacks

Procrastination is one of my dilemmas and I couldn’t even help it. I always procrastinate every time I had something to do and just do other tasks instead. I think it is one of my worst problems that I had to deal with. On this week, on Tackle it Tuesday, Ms. Janice asked a question, what do YOU procrastinate? Does it make you feel terrible about yourself? Well, a lot of times, I do procrastinate such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, and even doing my school work. Sometimes, at the end of the day, I feel so terrible because I didn’t do it, so by saying I will do it tomorrow for sure to make myself better.

Then, it happened again for some reason different things occurred and I’m already tired of doing it, so I had to move it again the next day. I hate procrastination results but I still keep doing it. I don’t know why but I have heard on my Psychology class is that to avoid procrastination, you have to do the job as soon as possible, although you feel like you don’t like doing it because the eagerness to do it won’t start before you do it, it will begin when you already starting doing the job.

Well, last Sunday, when we came home from church, I just started vacuuming and cleaning the floor without plans of doing it on that day but I did and I felt so good about it.

New Handbag for me!

About two weeks ago, my husband brought me to the place called outlets where you can buy clothing and accessories at the lowest prices than normal stores. It was a good place and he brought me to buy an outfit and a new purse for myself. I thought of buying a purse at one of the famous brand but I was hesitant since it was too much for me. Then, we came to this store where you can also find expensive handbags. When I was browsing and looking for a purse, I saw this black leather 'Eyelet Nikki' hobo by rebecca minkoff. It was the cutest bag at the store and I’m trying to win it but then the price is too much for me, again. Well, if you are on Rebecca Minkoff purses, you can also visit online for lesser value. I wish I could be able to have one purse that is expensive because I know they will last for a lifetime.

Small Talk Six: Tearjerker Movies

>>  Saturday, April 17, 2010

This week on Small Talk Six topic is: 6 movies that make you cry.

This is actually an automated post since today, I will be busy for my birthday party so I hope you will enjoy the movies that made me cry.

So here are my list for this week:

1. The Passion of the Christ - every time I saw a movie like this, Jesus died on the cross and how he suffered and being crucified, really made me broken-hearted. This movie really moved me in so many ways. Particularly heartbreaking was Mary's reactions and memories concerning her son. Any parent will be able to relate to her pain.

2. Fireproof - This story is about love and forgiveness within a marriage that seems to have little hope for survival. A great film for those struggling in their marriages or those who have overcome obstacles by also giving love and forgiveness to their partners.

3. Life is Beautiful - This movie has some funny scenes but it is also a tearjerker and sometimes very sad. It is just so overwhelming too. It is a movie that will bring out your emotions.

4. The Notebook - The actual ending is just what it should be and altogether fitting. All in all, the movie runs you through every emotion in the human spectrum and, in my opinion, it's the best "love story" I've ever seen or read. My favorite love story of all time.

5. P.S. I Love You - This captivating love story is focused and sincere. I laughed and cried. This is pure romance at its most rich! Sweet, endearing, charming heart-warming and moving.

6. I don't know what to put in this last one but maybe I will put them both, Finding Nemo (when the big fish attacked and only Nemo is alive) and King Kong (when hes taken from the island & when he dies).

I think that's all I could think of right now...

April 20: Updated

The Last Song, the movie that made me cry again....

Getting myself a new eyeglasses

>>  Wednesday, April 14, 2010

A couple of times, I had difficulties dealing with wearing an eyeglasses, therefore, I had to wear contact lens most of the time because I find it very comfortable and yet it can help me avoid having headaches or dizziness too. I don’t know why but wearing eyeglasses made me uneasy and uncomfortable at all, maybe because I’m not used to it. So, when getting an eyeglasses but I can’t wear them all the time; why not get a cheaper one. I have been thinking about getting myself a new eyeglass because sometimes wearing a contact lens takes a lot of work and time. I thought of getting it at one of the cheapest eyeglasses seller online called Zenni Optical. I was skeptical about this website though but after hearing good stories, good products from them, I was excited to get my own. I just wanted to get my pair of eyeglasses just in case, I don’t need to wear a contact lens for quite a while like watching movies with my husband before bed time, going to the computer for a while, and stuff like that. So, why wearing contact lens and take them out right away again. It is just takes a lot of work. So, now I’m getting myself a new eyeglasses and I was so excited about it.

Wanted for Myself

This week on I Want...Wednesday:

What do you WANT for yourself today?

= Today? I think I already had them last Monday and yesterday. Let me think, oh I wanted a magic sing. A magic sing is a videoke/karaoke where you can connect on TV and then you can sing on your own. This is what I want for myself right now.

What else do you want this week? Share it all.

=I want to just have my spring break as soon as possible so I could enjoy the rest of the nice weather next week. I also wanted to go to park and enjoy spending time with my family. I don't know what I want for the rest of the week but I will update this post later...

Tuesday Toot: It's my Day!

This week on Tuesday Toot:

It is my day! This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Yes, you heard it right, it is my birthday! Today is actually the second day of my birthday. My birthday falls every 13th of April and when I was still in the Philippines, my birthday falls April 12 here in US and when it comes here in US, it was already April 14 in the Philippines. So, basically when I came here, I became a day younger or maybe 13 hours more younger. Isn't it something or what?

Anyway, last Monday, we went to the mall for like about an hour and a half away from we were lived. There, I shopped until I drop, no I'm just kidding. We shopped for some birthday gift for me. Then, we came home like night already. Then, by Tuesday, we went to my sister in law to dropped my son so we can able to go out without a kiddo for a while. Then we went to dinner at Red Lobster and then watched a movie later on. The movie was alright, we watched the Clash of the Titans and it was a good movie when it comes to movie sounds and effects. Then, we went back to my in law and picked up Josh.

It was fun and then, we came home like around 2 in the morning and I think I went to bed around 3 am. It was a long day for me but it was special because it is my day!

Buy Gold Bullion

A lot of jewelry store now a day’s considered buying gold such as the old gold jewelry you might have and make these old gold jewelry into a new piece of gold jewelry. I am thinking of selling mine too since with that idea, I could able to buy new ones. Buying gold is a good investment these days as well. A lot of times that gold selling and buy gold bullion is decreasing but over the years it was always on the run and gold is still good when it comes to investing your money, looking forward for future incomes once you retired, and it is the best way to have a consistent, permanent income.

If you want to learn more about how to buy gold, then just visit this website today by clicking the link above.

Then Sings My Soul Saturday: Here in my Life

>>  Sunday, April 11, 2010

On Then Sings My Soul Saturday is dedicated to my son who just got heal form having a fever. Since then, I always thank God for it. I always get scared and sad when my son wasn't feeling good. He is the love of my life and I thank God for everything.

I have never walked on water
Felt the waves beneath my feet but
At your Word Lord, I’ll receive Your
Faith to walk on oceans deep

And I remember how You found me:
In that very same place
All my failing surely would've drowned me
But You made a way

You are my freedom
Jesus you’re the reason
I’m kneeling again at Your throne
Where would I be without You
Here in my life, here in my life?

You have said that all the heavens
Sing for joy at one who finds
The way to freedom, truth of Jesus
Bought from death into His life

And I remember how You saw me:
Through the eyes of Your grace
And though the cost was Your beloved for me
Still you made a way!

For God be the Glory, Amen!

Exotic Foods

>>  Friday, April 9, 2010

This week on Small Talk Six topic is 6 of the most exotic or the strangest things you’ve ever eaten.

I only have few memories of eating exotic food but I will share them to you but as I go along, I will remember more, so bear with me.

1. Frog legs - I never had a frog legs before but when my husband and I went to a nearby restaurant, I ordered a seafood combo meals with frog legs in it. It was actually good, taste like chicken.

2. Whole small Squids - I always love to eat squid but I seldom eating them because of short supply.

3. Raw meat of goat - It was actually good as long as it was done perfectly. My mom used to do this and she's good at making this.

4. Snail cooked in coconut milk - I loved it and my mom is still the best when it comes to cooking snail.

5. Balut - I always loved this! I missed eating them too! Balut is actually a 2 to 3 week-old hatched duck egg (with embryo), which is hard- boiled. It can be spiced up with salt, vinegar w/ diced garlic and onion, and chili.

5. Dog meat Stew - it sounds so scary but I did taste a dog meat a few years ago. We have a renter who happened to be married to an Ifugao, a landlocked province of the Philippines and one of their favorite exotic food to eat is a dog meat. One time, they had a party at home and we were invited. I went and of course, they have other food too but one of which is made with dog meat. I tried it to see how it taste like, a small bite made me wonder, it really taste like a chicken meat but with a thought it's a human best friend, I never even bother to eat it again.

5. Have you ever taken a brand new pencil and sharpened it in an electric sharper until it was almost gone just because you were bored? = no..that's funny!

6. Do you have any old broken computers still sitting around your home? = yes, we do! It's in the basement, you want it?

7. Ricky Martin came out this week stating he is gay. Were you shocked, had a feeling, "who?" or just didn't care? = I don't care at all...

8. If marijuana is legalized, do you think it should have a luxury tax added onto it? = No. It shouldn't be legalized at the first place.

9. What's the oddest thing you have sitting on your computer desk right now or where ever it is you may be sitting with a laptop (you could be sitting at a Starbucks with an alien from Mars for all we know)? = I'm still on my sleepy wear at 4 pm...

13. Which commercial is the most annoying to you on TV or radio? = I don't know but there's a lot of them...

Just a thought!

When we were up north last weekend, it was a fun vacation but sometimes it is the most annoying one. The house we were staying at was having problem with the septic tank and so we can’t able to plush the toilet unless if we went poop but you can’t plush if you just pee or something. It was annoying and I always forgot about it and so sometimes the toilet gets stuck up and won’t stop running. I thought my mother in law might need to contact a septic tank cleaner to clean out her septic tank and maybe it could help out to lessen the problem. Every time we were up there, there’s always problem around. I wish she could read this, so she will know but of course, I care about her and having a problem like this with your house is really stressful. So, thought of giving her a thought about it and it might be a good help.

I got nothing to Lose

Thursday Thunk edition for March 25th, I would not want to miss any TT post so, I have to make this one up.

1. I got nothing. What should I ask next week? Although I think Kimber should do it next week. Somehow. = I don't know but whatever you feel to...just ask anything you want...

2. Wind chimes - annoying or not? Sometimes they do! But I love their sound...

3. Camping - camper or tent? = tent is much better...

4. Told ya I got nothing. This really sucks. I should have had Bud do this, huh? = Well, just ask whatever...

5. What is your favorite letter of the alphabet? = J because it is the first letter of my name, my husband's name, my son's name and my mother in law's name and even my brother in law.

6. So this week my kid had to type a research paper for English.... then she had to email it to her teacher! Is that not just the oddest thing ever? Blew my mind away. = Yes, that's what all they do now email....

7. Wow. These questions suck. They suck bad. Do you like to suck through straws? For what type of beverages? = Pop because pop they make your teeth yellow and so drinking them using a straw is somewhat a helpful way to minimize it.

8. What do you do with your cell phones when you do those wonderful "upgrades" to the newer, fancier phones? = I donate them or give them to our son to play with.

9. It's allergy season - unless you've completely missed all the people walking around with kleenexs stuck to their nose... what are you allergic to? = dust and fumes...

10. What did you sleep with as a child? = an extra pillow and my purple teddy bear

I Want...Wednesday for today!

>>  Thursday, April 8, 2010

This week on I Want...Wednesday question is:

What do you WANT your neighbors to do?

=Well, I just want them to mind their own business and stop finding fault from others. I wasn't talking about our neighbors since our neighbors here are kind a very quite people, some of them are very friendly, and sometimes sneaky too. We have a neighbor who always sneak and see what we were doing. He wasn't really doing it all the time but sometimes he gets so curious and wanted to know what was going on. I wish he would stop doing that. I know that some of our neighbors are quite old citizens but I understand but sometimes getting into personal is overwhelming.

Then, I also wanted to make a comment about some neighbors who always find fault to others and that's what my mother in law's neighbors were. It is just so ridiculous.

What else do you want this week? Share it all.

= This weekend, I wanted to go shopping but my husband has to go to work on Saturday and Sunday at the base, so I can't able to go anywhere because he will have the car. Maybe, I could able to do whatever I want this weekend or maybe do my project earlier. I don't know what to do yet but I was looking forward to go back next week at the mall outlet for about two hours away from us to buy stuff at cheaper prices.

Go with Green Shopping

I love shopping online because it is less stressful especially when you have a three year old boy who can’t stand going to the store for longer period of time. He has been so impatient lately when we go to a grocery store or shopping mall as he gets older, probably because he never find it interesting and fun unless we go to park or play ground afterward.

Anyway, so when it comes to shopping, I always go online, I seldom going to the retail store because sometimes it takes a lot of time to find what I wanted then, we have a son who doesn’t have patience with this situation. So, online shopping is my other alternative to find what I was looking for. Also you can find best deals and discounts on shopping online too.

Online shopping is very convenient, it saves you time and money plus you can also save the earth now with green shopping. Green shopping is another way to save the earth from consuming too much energy and it helps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. I have found it very interesting and I just know about it right now.
If you want to save the earth and prepare a good future for your children and grand children then start shopping online now, it saves you time as well as it helps you find the best deals you can’t find at the retail stores.

Tuesday Toot: First Time to decorate an Easter egg

Last weekend, we were up north at Rogers City, MI for almost 4 days for an Easter vacation. As a matter of fact, we don't really celebrate Easter but we don't have anything to do during the weekend so we just decided to have some little things about Easter for our son. It was his first Easter that now he is 3 years old. He was never known about Easter and things about bunny and eggs but we told him about Jesus and how he died and rose up again but he was still too young to understand it all.

Anyway, when we were there, I finally had my first egg decoration. My mother in law bought stuff to decorate boiled eggs and made us all decorate our own. It was fun and my son did his own too but of course with the help of his dad.

So, I took some pictures and it was just too cute..

And here's mine!

Then, we ate the eggs afterward...

Small Talk Six: Please Excuse me tonight...

Last week on Small Talk Six topic is “6 excuses you have used to get out of sex.”

Well, this is a very interesting and fun topic to discussed and share, but I couldn't think of any excuses I have made so far because I never did made excuses but I will try to think some excuses I had few years back...

Here are my six for this week:

1. I am tired especially if I don't have enough sleep from last night and I was so sleepy that I couldn't think about it.

2. I am sleepy and he will always understand.

3. I have my period.

4. I have aches whatever it might be it still works...

5. If I'm sad and mad...

6. Lastly, if I need to watch my favorite shows on TV or I was online...

MIL needs a new window blinds for her cabin

>>  Wednesday, April 7, 2010

A couple of days ago, we’re still up north and enjoying the beautiful weather of green forest could bring and while we were there, I think it was Saturday night when we talked about windows. My mom’s cabin was old basically it needs a new renovation of some parts of the house. I thought she needed a new window and probably will get a new modern design custom window blinds that would fit the house’s interior and decoration. She loves beaches and sand decors, lighthouses, and some type of deer hunting decors as well. If you do to her bathroom, you can find beach and sand decors with light houses and at the living room, you can find deer, bears and sort of hunting pictures and decors.

Last weekend, I helped her putting up a new curtain on her windows and I thought she needed a new custom size shades that fit her cabin’s windows. She really needs new ones anyway because the old ones that she had was ripped, and basically some bugs was laying eggs on it. I think she also needs a window glasses as well. I told my husband about it and he agreed with me eventually, I wish I could find discount custom blinds so that I could share it with my mother in law.

I'm Back Home!

Last Thursday, my family went up north for a weekend vacation with my mother in law at her cabin at Rogers City, Michigan. It was about four hours away from the city and it was absolutely a long drive for us since along the way, we kept stopping to do some tasks.

Anyway, when we were there, we had fun. We went to the Lake Huron for quite a while to enjoy more of the water breeze from the lake, enjoy the warm sunny weather, to enjoy playing and building sand castle for my son, and enjoy the walking by the sea shore. I had so much because being away from the city for once in a while is very helpful to eliminate stress. Also, we went to the park for my son to enjoy the playground and then we went to McDonald's for the rest of an hour to use their Wi-Fi free services. I have been bringing my laptop to check out my blog and so as my face book games too. I have been so addicted to it and I can't even stop not to check on it for once in a while.

Then, my mother in law and I went to town to look some of the resale shops and small stores nearby. It was lots of things to see over there, very unusual, unique and I never thought I could find. We went to the grocery store to buy the rest of what we need for the Easter weekend. It was fun and I am looking forward to go back someday.

Then, last Monday we just came home and for some reason, I got so tired and so overwhelmed with the long drive. I wonder why it takes forever to get back home than going up there. It takes us about 6 hours for us to get home this time. Well, it was fun and I had a good time though.
