Famous People to Dine With

This week on Small Talk Six: “6 famous people you would love to have dinner with.

There are a lot of people that I love to dine with and here are among of them.

Here are my six:

1. Jackie Chan - I've been his fan when I was 13 years old. I love all his movies and meeting him in person would be a dream come true. He also looks like my dad and with that, I would love to dine with him.








2.Sarah Palin - I just wanted to meet her in person and absolutely ask her some few questions. She's one of my favorite...I like her political views as well.






3. Tyra Banks - She's amazing. I like her fashion, her views and opinions, a good role model, and I like her show a lot.









4. James Cameron - From Titanic to Avatar, I was supporting him. But first thing in mind, how did he do it. I really wanted to ask questions and meet the famous director and producer of those great movies!









5. Celine Dion - She's one of my favorite singer of all time. I wanted to learn more about her and how did she sing like that! What is her secret! It is just nice to know more about the person whom I always listened to.









6. Kris Aquino - One of my favorite talk show host in the Philippines. She is absolutely a strong woman, very optimistic no matter what happened to her life. Very bright and smart. I like her views and opinions towards life. She is absolutely one of my favorite famous women.

Thursday Thunks: From Crazy to Alcohol

This week on Thursday Thunks questions are:

1. Who is the craziest person in your family? = He is not crazy but he is stubborn and for that we always call him crazy, it's my brother.

2. If you could make turtle shells any color you wanted, what color would turtles be? = Maybe, yellow and red.

3. How fast do hotcakes sell? = Very fast. I remember when I was still in the Philippines, we happened to sell hotcakes and I just noticed that people really loved them for a snack.

4. Can cannibals be arrested for being under the influence of alcohol if they have eaten someone who was drunk? = I think so.

5. If I had my legs amputated, would I have to change my height and weight on my driver's license? = No.

6. Where do people in Hell tell other people to go? = Go to die!

7. Do you make stupid little baby noises when talking to your pets? = No, not all. I always say it on a baby talk.

8. Is the light on in the room? = As of now, no.

9. Did the voice tell you that the light is on in the room? = No. Only last night when my son leave the basement light on and so I have to go there and turned it off.

1. Why are computer mouses called mouses? = I don't know but some people used to say that the cord looked like a tail and the shape of the mouse was like a mouse. I'm not sure why it's still called that though but how about wireless mouse?

2. If a guy has no money and he goes into a bar does he get kicked out? = Well, I'm sure.

3. Why does Taryn hate rat terrier puppies? = I don't know maybe because they hate what they look like.

4. Why do polar bears not moo? = Well, because they are not a cow.

5. Why do people let doves fly at their weddings? = Doves symbolizes actually of court, mate and stay loyal to one another throughout their lives but despite the fact that it is, maybe each partner has their own freedom too to do what is right such as going with friends, etc.

6. Why are no two snowflakes alike? = It's like human being...

7. Why do people want things that don't work? (ads in newspapers - like junk batteries wanted) = To save more I guess.

8. Why do we have to wear shoes at school? = You don't want to be bare footed don't you?

9. Why do people wear socks with sandals? = I don't, well, maybe because they don't want dirt to get into their feet. So why wear sandal then.

10. Why do we always want bear hugs? = To make everyone feel comfortable and for us to be comfort.

11. Why do dogs lick people's toes? And why do they like to lick lotion? = I don't know, they do really? I did not know that..

12. Why do people get this little thing pierced - as she points to the little thing on her ear. = Well, i don't really know...

13. Why do dogs like to eat out of litterboxes? = They do always like that even though it is not a litter box.

15. Why isn't snow purple? = Because the water is not...

16. When the earth was made why was the sky made blue? = I don't really know that...that's interesting question. Well, the sky is not always blue.The clouds make it look white once in a while.Some people think its because God made it that way.But I kinda agree with them.But I think its because
when God made this world he made space .It does'nt make sense if the sky is always blue.Also it may be because there is no climate air and the sun is a million meters or millimeters away. Since its so far away well it depends on the planet, the sky gets darker.

17. Why do cats like laser lights? = Well, because they play with it.

18. When someone invented Santa Clause, why did they make him fat? = To make more fun for kids...

19. What do you think Santa does when he's not making toys? = Naps and snacking..

20. Why is it that suddenly I don't care anymore? = It's because you were tired of taking care of things and wanted to get over it.

Hard to Break Habits

And the Question of the Week is… what is the most difficult habit you have ever tried to get rid of?

~First and foremost, the first habit that is so hard to break is to be online all the time. I don't want to miss blogging and even checking out my facebook games. I was addicted to it and I can't help it. I will missed them if I don't have Internet for a while.

Secondly, watching movies online. I have been to Netflix for quite a while and watching movies by streaming is addictive.

Lastly, Sleeping so late and waking up so late. It was bad for me...but I can't help it...

Easy stretch mark removal

When I got pregnant there years ago, I always take good car of my skin in order not to get a stretch mark in my full pregnancy. I put anti-stretch mark lotion on the area where itchiness occur but in the end none of them works, I still have couple of stretch marks found on my belly and thigh. It was indeed sad because I never had stretch marks before and now I am suffering, watching my skin ruined and destroyed by pregnancy. I have tried some lotion, stretch mark remover but none of them works at all. There are some Lasik removals as well but I am not so sure about it. I wish there’s an easy stretch mark removal out there where you can just buy in the store or over the counter that is effective and safe to use. Well, I guess I have to check out people’s reviews about certain stretch mark removal solutions online, maybe it could help me out.

Valentine's Day Thunks

This week on Thursday Thunks:

1. Kimber is freaking out because I didn't get the TT done yesterday. I had a busy day. Will you ever forgive me? = Well, nobody's perfect! I'll forgive you and I don't care...

2. So this weekend is Valentine's Day. When you think of yourself and this love-filled holiday, what is biggest memory? = I think is when we were together on our first Valentine's day.

3. Pajama pants. Who knew it could have so many fricken opinions. (Seriously... if you don't believe me) Would you... do you... could you wear PJ pants to a store? = Nope! Don't ask me why...

4. I'm gonna give you one of those big heart candy boxes on Sunday. Are you an expert at chocolate candies and already know whats inside them all or will you just take whichever one and enjoy it no matter what is inside or are you one of those people who sticks their finger in the bottom of the candy to see what the filling is then puts it back if you don't like it? = Well, I'm not an expert on chocolate but just give me truffles with chocolate fillings in it, I'll be fine.

5. Scented Candles - whats your favorite? The new fragrances from Bath and body works, the Caribbean salsa and Island margarita...

6. Snow sucks. We've mostly all been hit. What kind of snow shovel do you have? (The rest of you who live in sunny no-snow places... tell me your favorite sunscreen brand) = We have a plow truck hehehee! no just kidding...we have a plower...

7. The first thing I thought of this morning when I woke up was "Oh crap. Kimber's gonna be pissed...." then I had a whole bunch of good ideas for questions to ask. Now I can't remember them. Do you keep a notebook next to your bed for times like that? = Yes, you should! Do you?

8. Have you ever seen a groundhog in real, you can touch it and it will bite you, life? =Nope!

9. Is there any key on your keyboard that is starting to wear off? Which one is it? Nope! All were brand new!

It’s been a while when my husband have lack of sleep due to when our son started to cry in the middle of the night, out of the blue kind a thing and that woke him up form sleep. I was so sad about it since he doesn’t have much sleep when he came home from work as well because my son is so into him. He is such a daddy’s boy and always wanted to play with him. No Classes for two consecutive days...

Last February 9th and yesterday, I definitely don't have classes due to a bad snow weather here in Michigan. I was kind a happy about it since I will have an exam on the 9th and now I have a lot of time to further review. Then, yesterday, I thought I will have a class but all schools were being canceled. I don't know why since the weather on that day is not that bad at all, hence the snow stopped and no more ice on the road when we went to snow sledding yesterday with my family.

Anyway, it was fun for me because then I have two extra days off from school and now I have to go to class today for my exam. Then, tomorrow will be Friday and don't have school. I was kind a excited about it since it is also Valentine's day and probably my husband and I will go out to dinner.

Well, the snow is not that bad here in Michigan. I think we're lucky enough not to experience more snow than 2 inches.

1. You walk into a room, someone turns and looks at you and laughs. What do you do? = Laugh with him, lol! Well, honestly, I don't know what to say, that's awkward. Probably, I will ask him/her what is she laughing all about because I will put him to death laughing so hard and I don't want to do that...

I Want...Wednesday: Home Makeover

Need to Workout...

Winter season is so long for me to wait before I started walking again as a form of my exercise, just to lose some extra pounds I gained so far. Although, it is good to just go to a fitness center but I find walking a fun but it is so cold to walk outside right now because of the winter season. I don’t want to suffer from pneumonia when I get old, although some people won’t believe it. I just heard it from my mom where if your body is wet from working out and then it dries up in the air, it may give you a sickness which I believe for all of my life.

Anyway, going to a fitness center is a nice thing to do too but sometimes I don’t want to get out of the house because it is so cold outside. I wish I just have a fitness equipment at home so I can just work out whenever I wanted to. I have found some fitness equipment online so far and some of them are on sale. I can’t wait to tell my husband about it.

Small Talk Six: Worst Movies ever

Last Saturday of Small Talk Six topic is the 6 of the worst films you’ve ever watched.

I have to check out the list of movie we watched recently and rated them at Netflix for my entry this week. Since there's a lot of movie these days is worst than I thought. Some people has different opinion but on my outlook and overview they are worst and I would never recommend it.

Here's the list of movies. I like watching horror, thriller films and these are among of them.

1. Halloween II - I thought it is the best one than Halloween movie but it became worst than I thought using dream sequences and some silly mother visions.

2. Haunting of Winchester House (2009) - This movie is not good at all. Very corny, bad acting, not scary. I wasted 2 hours of my life.

3. Drag Me to Hell (2009) - A total snooze-fest. Where was the funny, scary stuff that everyone wrote about? We watched half an hour waiting for something, anything, remotely interesting to get our attention, and gave it up as a waste of time.

4. Bedtime Stories (2008) - I really wanted this to be a wonderful movie - unfortunately I found it to be predictable, poorly acted overall and ultimately unwatchable. I find myself bored...

5. Pineapple Express (2008) - Pineapple Express is lowbrow comedy, raunchy, shocking, crude and immature, but mostly it is just very funny but it never made it to my best movies rather the worst one.

6. The Spirit (2008)- This movie was so bad I could not finish watching it. I watched about 20 minutes --- 20 minutes, I'll never get back.
