Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And it is time for my I want...Wednesday...and this week question is:

What do you want to give thanks for? = I want to thank for everything. I am thankful of having healthy life as well as my family over all.
I am thankful for having meals three times a day, for nice clothing, for a new home we have right now, and I am thankful for having an Internet where I could able to make contact with my family back home way in the Philippines.
I am thankful for having chances to join giveaways and contests online, and

Ready for Thanksgiving yet?

Are you ready for thanksgiving yet? But was not sure about eating turkey meat? Well, I got something for you! Well, a few days ago, I asked my husband to make a pose for me wearing the turkey hat that I received from Izea a few days ago for free with the Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda a. We bought tried the soda and it is not for us. It tastes nothing like turkey or gravy, however, I like the sparkle fizz of it but not the after taste. I guess, we just don't like it because we are not really vegetarian. In fact, we only have few favorite vegetables.
So we thought it might be better if it has more fizziness or sweetness in it. For example, maybe the flavor, tofurky and cranberry. Having
cranberry in the name would make more sense to me as a soda drink. Well, you might like it yourself, if you love the taste of meatless soda drink and if you are a vegetarian.

If I have a chance to give it to a friend, well, I would say I would give some to my brother in law as a gift because sometimes he has this weird on taste and he will probably like it. Also to my mother who always love to drink healthy beverages. And to my husband’s grandma who don’t like to eat meat turkey and gravy during Thanksgiving. I think these are the best people to have this kind of drink but not me, I guess.

Relevance of Insurance

What else is important aside from having insurance? None I supposed because since I was still in the Philippines I already know about the importance of having insurance whether it is a life insurance, a health insurance, a house and appliances insurance, renter’s insurance, an rv insurance or even car insurance. Aside from that, there are a lot of insurances today where you can able to settle down such as premium insurance and even a long term insurance. I was thinking about what would be the human life’s outcome without insurance to rely on? Sometimes, due to some unwanted payments of insurance, I started to rants and rambles about it but in reality, insurance is a great help and absolutely helps millions of lives around the world.

What in your life do you want to happen on its own?

~I would say a lot to mention because I want everything to just happen on its own and I just sat there and do nothing. Speaking of doing household chores and stuff such as cleaning the bathroom, cooking meals, cleaning the house and stuff.

When about my life, well, I wish I would just turn back the time and do something about it. Although, things happened because we can able to learn from it.

Wanted a Wii for Christmas

I wish somebody will be so tender hearted this coming holiday season and will give me a Wii. I have heard to some of my friends that Nintendo Wii is the best fun gaming system today. So, now I have been looking forward to maybe get some Nintendo Wii for Christmas or maybe a birthday present.

I'm Done!

It's time for my Tuesday Toot, although I was a day late to post my entry but it is better late than never, right? Well, I am just too busy for these past couple weeks due to our recent move and so glad now almost every thing is done. I was so occupied with things for like three days, putting stuff away and unload and decide which things not use and stuff. Then, we have decided to which furniture goes here and there which sometimes so tiring and time consuming. Every time I went to bed, I always passed out.

So now, I am so glad everything is back to normal and I am so excited to toot about it. Now the only thing we need is our cable and Internet. Good thing we have a wireless connection here because it is a condo unit and so now I am glad I can still be able to get online.

Anyway, after all these move out and in thing, I have finally decided that I'm done moving now and that's for sure, and maybe for one more time and it is going to be the last one, hopefully!

Affordable Motor Unit At Central

Yesterday, we went to our old apartment home to clean up and turn in the keys after we moved out all of our stuff into our house. While cleaning the carpet with our vacuum, I have noticed that it never suck in some dirt and eventually, I have to redo them again and vacuum them using a hose which sometimes takes a lot of time. So, I thought it’s time to buy a new vacuum again which sounds ridiculous because we only had that vacuum for only three years. I thought are they supposed to live longer than that? Well, my husband said that we don’t need to replace the vacuum itself but its motor system. So, I search online and I have found this 115334 vacuum motor at very reasonable prices. It has a good customer reviews too which helps me decide if the item was an excellent product to purchase. Then, I told my husband about it and hopefully, we can able to change our vacuum soon.

Won a Free Layout

Last weekend, I had found out that I won a free layout from a blog giveaway contest hosted by Gene of Her and History, just right on time I needed a new blog makeover. I did not expect that I won and Ms. Femikey of Femikey Designs is the one that was chosen to be my layout maker. Good thing, she is so patient to deal with me in regards with layout makeover. I am quite so picky when it comes to layout, therefore, it was really so hard for me to deal with that as well.
Anyway, my blog layout is done just yesterday but unfortunately, it won’t work well with Firefox, so I had to retain my old layout and just use the header which turned out so good as well.

~Today? Well, as of now, I really wanted to sell some of our furniture, so we don't have anything to worry about as soon as we moved out into our house. So, I hope somebody will contact us now and buy them from Craiglist.

Ready to Move Out Again

I was a bit day late to post my Tuesday Toot but it is better late than never, right? Well, thanks to Mommy Marie for keep on reminding me about this meme.


Anyway, I am going to toot about our moving again. This time, I would say better than before. Actually, it is my fourth times moving since I came here in US. We had been renting an apartment homes for four years, and finally this time we are moving into a little house with two bedrooms for us and for our son. I am quite excited because we can have our own basement, garage, and our own little haven. I am just so excited to move out now because I know this is going to be our last one, hopefully.
Anyway, I am so excited that we can able to move some of our things earlier than we expected, and now the only thing we need to move out from the house is the furniture. I already packed up all the things and I am basically not procrastinating this time. Now, I have time to blog!

Things I Learned from my Father

And the Question of the Week is… What are the most important things you learned from your father?

~I learned a lot from my father, good or bad, lesson to be learned and maybe despite the fact that people is against you, just fight for it and follow what's your heart's desire. My dad admitted that he is a black sheep of his family, and his siblings hated him that he married my mom because she is a Filipina, well anyhow, it is just a thing of Chinese culture when it comes to choosing a partner for marriage, it is quite unusual, but that's where my father grew up and raise for. But eventually, he fight and follow what his heart wanted and until now, he knew that he is with the one he loves. Even though, these things are simple, but I have learned that to be strong, have courage to face what might be the consequences. So, I thank my father for showing me how to face life.

Boost Your Immune System

A few weeks ago, I had this awful feeling of sore throat where I could not able to swallow or even drink fluids, where at the same time, it itches which always irritates me. Therefore, I told my husband to buy some lozenges because it was already taken me so badly and I could not able to deal with the sore throat any longer. The thing is, we always don’t have medicine on ready, and so every time we need it, we can’t able to take them right on time unless we will go to the store and buy one. Then, just last week, I feel some irritation on my sore throat again because I went to the store for couple of hours and it was really freezing outside and I did not know that the flu virus struck me again.

Unfortunately, that’s what I hate mostly about cold weather because having flu for me would never stop, it keeps on coming back. Now I have to deal with sore throat again and experience pain and difficulty of breathing during night time, and sore throat. I really hated to experience flu again but I can’t block it form coming back.

So, now I have tried a new lozenge from Respiratory Guard just right on time to see if it really works for me. The first time I tried it, I thought it was just a usual fruity candy, but I was wrong, it is more than just a candy. It absolutely helped me to numb my sore throat and stopped the tingling that sometimes associates with sneezing and stuffy nose. I love this lozenge because it was made with natural ingredient known as elderberry.

As of now, I have been using elderberry lozenge to act as a flu vaccines so I don’t need to get some flu vaccines shots eventually which I don’t really recommend, plus I hate being poked with needles. Home Alarm Systems

Since we are going to move out soon into a new home, I am thinking about being alone with my son. I am quite excited about our new home, but I was thinking about what could it be to live with your own home, no close neighbors, rather, you have a private life. It is one of the things, I was bothered along because I don’t know how safe me and my family were, when my husband is at work. I just can’t wait to find out about home alarm systems these days, if I can get one right now, I would definitely be feel secured and protected. Of course, we can able to get one, I guess, but I don’t know how much it will cost us. What do you think? Do you have any security system installed? What can you say about it?

Tuesday Toot: Packing Up and Moving Out

This week's Tuesday Toot, and it is time for me to toot about our packing up and moving out situation. We have two weeks to pack up and moved out of the apartment right now. Although, we are moving into a new home, and these time it is a house. I am so excited; therefore, even though we still have two weeks to get ready, I already packed up the things and I can’t wait to get out here. This is our first home, therefore, I am so excited especially if you had a chance to settle things and do some household decors on my own. Also, I can’t wait because we can able to do everything we want to do. I just can’t wait and I am so excited about it.

Although, I am quite annoyed and hate moving out, since it is so hard to pack things up and get things ready and then unload them again and put things up. I still remember the last time we moved in, and we had so much work, and I can’t able to get things done on time. I wish my husband’s family can able to help us. Well, just can’t wait to move out soon and I can’t even wait!

Tackle It Tuesday — Tackling my Digital Camera

It is time for Tackle It Tuesday and I am tackling about my digital camera. It is just a simple task to do, but it gives me a lot of work. Why? Because I never do anything about those pictures from the digital picture since I used it from last birthday of my son last January 2009. It has been almost 11 months now and I still have those photos on the camera. So, I tackled about it last night and save them on my computer. There are over 300 photos on my computer after I uploaded them on my computer, so I have decided to upload and save on CD. I got six CD’s with those old photos. Now, I had a chance to delete all of those photos on my SD card so, then I just don’t need to buy a new one. I think this is the best thing I had to do so far, and I guess, it is better to upload photos at anytime, rather than uploading those tons of photos at one time.

Getting Along with Siblings

And the Question of the Week is… if you had siblings, did you get along with them? = Yes, I am closed to my siblings especially my eldest sister. I only have two siblings, and I am the youngest. Maybe, it is natural that the youngest is always been closer to the eldest sister, although, I had great relationship with my eldest brother as well. It is probably the woman thing that’s why we had closer relationship with my sister. There are some certain things that my sister and I are getting so well, sometimes we had some misunderstanding, argument over things, but when we get older and had our own family, we have learned that only both we are truly friends and it is only the both of us who can always rely on each other.

When it comes to my brother, I had good time with him when I was still in the Philippines, although, we always had fight, but when we are apart now, I have learned that I am missing being with him too. I don’t really miss my sister that much because we always talk over the phone, and actually, we are going to be together again next month, since my sister and I were living at the same country, although we’re living in different states, but my brother is living in the Philippines which I seldom to talk to.
