It's Thursday, so it's time for some Thursday Thunks meme! This week's question is all about the Halloween thingy! The Halloweeney Version of Thursday Thunks.
So, here are some of the questions:
1. So Halloween is this weekend, if you haven't heard. Are you gonna open your doors up or not? = Probably! There are some kids here that will do some trick or treat.
2. You better open 'em cuz I'm coming... what are you putting in my treat bag? = Some butterfinger ch0colate bars and reese!
3. Since October is the bestest month for television (well for cable & dish subscribers it is) and there is a horror movie on at any given time of the day - are you sick of them yet? = No! Love it because they are all free!
4. Which one of those movies can you watch over & over again?= Maybe, the Stephen King's horror stories. They are the best! My husband always love to watch "the shining" over and over again, but not me, I am not into sort of thing watching movies over and over.
5. Tell us about a Halloween scare you've had.... = Well, I guess when my husband and I went for a hay ride adventure, it was scary even though they were not real.
6. Did you watch the old Casper cartoons when you were a youngin? Well, back then they weren't old I suppose, but I'm sure you still understand my question. = Yes, even the movie.
7. Have you ever found a four-leaf clover? = No. I have seen them anywhere on TV, movies, cartoon shows, cards, but never ever had one! I received some fake ones, but not the real ones.
8. Haunted Houses... you know, the kinds you pay to get in and they chase you with chainsaws and severed heads.... do you like 'em?= heheheh! Yes! They are scary but fun!
9. Do you use cute cartoon type wrapping paper for Christmas presents or the not cutesy paper? Or are you one of those gift card and/or gift bag people? = We usually use paper bags, I choose solid colors...
10. How long do boiled eggs need to stay in the boiling water before they become hard boiled eggs? = maybe, about 3 minutes on a high set in.
11. Jason is coming in through your front door... Freddy is coming through your back door... zombies are at every window of the house and Norman Bates is calling to invite you to dinner... what do you do? = Maybe, I will just go out with Norman Bates, he's better looking than those other ones, even though he is a psycho.
12. Did you know that the scariest part of Halloween is giving all of your Reeses Peanut Butter Cups away? = Hehehe! That's come from a Reese's commercial, maybe hubby can relate to it because he loves Reese's Peanut butter, but not me!
13a. If you were to play a part of a haunted house (not the ghosts in the attic kind), what would you want to be? = Maybe, I could be the white lady in the house...

When I was working before at one of the fast food chain restaurant in the Philippines, I hate my job and one of my co-worker, and so sometimes I call in to let them know I can't work because I am sick and I am not really is. Read more...My husband asked for my help a while ago to help him build a blog of his own. After three years of convincing him, he finally gave in. A while ago, I made his blog and he just wanted it simple and neat, so I made him a blog entitled Father and Son Journal. He said he wanted to talk about him and our son Josh, and this time will be his turn to share something about being a dad too. So, after I made some changes and editing on my husband’s blog, I was in the mood of changing this blog too.
So not so bored today, I did change my layout again here on my blog Garden of Moments once again. I have been searching for a new layout and I have found this at btemplates.com. I love my new blog layout, especially the mixture of color and I hope I would stay with it for a while.
For this week's theme for Small Talk Six is: 6 things (good or bad) that you credit your mother-in-law for.
Well, in speaking of my mother in law, she's the best mother in law that I ever had. Very generous and thoughtful, I no wonder why she chooses to be a nurse, very supportive as well.
But, sometimes there are some things that I really don't give credit for, but there some things as well, that I am thankful.
1. When she smokes, I really don't like it when she smoke, even though I am so open minded about it. I know this is the vice that will make her feel good and relaxed, but it is not good on her health as well as on the people around her.
2. She's very supportive and giving. She always has something for her grand kids.
3. For teaching my husband to love women as well, and respect them, listen to them with open heart and be sincere of what they do.
4. She's very supportive since she's helping us for my son's daycare.
5. I am so proud of her when she can able to get her own college degree when she was a single mother and have 4 kids to take good care of. If I am her, I don't know if I can able to do what she had done.
6. Lastly, for showing my husband what love is, so despite the divorce that her children experienced, her kids could respected and accepted it and that made them able to make their own marriage stronger and long lasting.

I forgot to post my THursday Thunks last week because I am so busy. Well, here they are:
1. If you were to start a meme (or a second or third), what would you call it and what day would you pick? = Maybe, Sunday, every Sunday. It's name is probably Sunday Plan Meme. It's a meme where you can just post about your plans for the week.
2. When a celebrity endorses a product, do you really believe they like it/use it? =No. They just uses it because they were paid for it and they got thousand or million of dollars from endorsing it.
3. Why don't zombies ever just eat each other?= because they taste weird, just like human, they don't each other as well, it is just the same with zombies. How would I know? I don't know, just a thought.
4. If you were an elephant, would you rather roam free or be in a zoo?= Maybe, be in the zoo. I feel safest in that idea, but maybe being free is a nice thing too.
5. The doorbell rings on October 31st, do you answer it?=No. We don't do Halloween here..
6. If you see a piece of paper on the ground while out & about, do you pick it up? If so, do you look to see what it is?= Well, it depends though if I'm in the hurry, probably I will not pick it up, but if I'm not, maybe I will pick it up and throw it away.
7. If Jon Gosselin and Octomom got married and then their own reality show, do you think she would try to get pregnant again for better ratings?= I think so, but I don't watch their shows, though.
8. If Thursday Thunks was to be put on hold or quit completely, would you be sad?= Yes, completely.

A few years ago, I still vividly remember how hard it is to live without a health insurance. When we needed for check up, we basically pay everything out of pocket which sometimes cost us a lot of money. Then, when my husband got a new job at that same year, we are so lucky since he will eventually get an insurance for all of us, it is a cheap health insurance where we can get good benefits as well. It's Friday, but two hours more to go it's going to be Saturday already. Wow time flies by quickly and without even noticing it, it is going to be Monday again.
Anyway, this week's theme for Small Talk Six is: 6 of your favorite sweet treats in the whole world.
1. Ice cream cake - I never get tired of it, even though I will have them everyday! Especially the Oreo ice Cream cake, it was so delicious that I can't resist it.
2. Cassava Cake - one of the famous Asian recipe in the Philippines. I missed them so much too. Although, I usually bake on special occasions.
3. Chocolates - M&M's peanut is always the best, every adults and children loved it. Also, some kitkat bars, Butterfingers, and dove.
4. Rice Cake ( Suman ) - It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves.
5. Pastillas De Leche and yema (Milk candies) - they are very irresistible and a mouth watering candies.
6. All time favorite of mine is Sapin Sapin - It is made from rice flour or rice that has been soaked overnight then crushed into a paste, sometimes yams or yam flour, coconut milk and sugar. Each layer is tinted (the bottom one a deep ube-like purple, the middle a golden yolk yellow,the top one white), and steamed before the next layer is added.
Now, I was craving for all of these recipes, too bad!

Going back to school is the only solution that can able to help me find a good and stable job in the future, therefore, I were so excited when I went back to school for over a year now.
In the meantime, I am taking courses at the nearby community college here in our area, just to pursue an education in health care. It is somewhat hard to go to campus all the time, especially when you have children to take god care of at the same such as you have to drop them off at the day care then for you to go to school afterwards. If I could only take online courses online that would be much better.
Good thing I have found an online education where you can able to get online degree program and do the assignments and school meetings right at the comfort of your own home. This is so relaxing and comfortable too because I don’t need to go out.
