BS, Dog Kisses, Memories And You Guessed It...More!

This week's questions for Thursday Thunks!

1. Have you ever played Bullshit? No. I never heard of that kind of game until now. I search it online and I have found out that it was a card game which means it is a shedding-type card game. The object is for the player to discard all the cards from their hand. This is done by placing one or more cards, ostensibly of a stated value, on the discard pile, while others are allowed to challenge the correctness of the player's statement about the cards being played. The game has many nicknames, the most common including BS, Cheat, and I Doubt It, often used in situations where yelling 'bullshit!' may not be desirable, such as in games with children.

2. A dog licks you on your face. Are you disgusted or thinking it was sweet? Disgusted especially if it's now my dog. If it's mine, then probably it's fine because I know what the dog was into when it comes to cleaning hygiene. But, I thought, I am going to be still feel disgusted even if it is my dog.

3. Tell us about a fun/special memory you have of a grandparent. Well, I remember when I was about 7 ot 8 years old. My grandparents used to stay with us for a vacation, and my grandma always love to cook and clean up our house. I always love working with her because she also taught me of how to do so. I guess, that's what I learn how to properly do hand washing the laundry. One thing I remembered about my grandpa, he always love making jokes and made us laugh.

4. Have you ever pet a rat? Yes! I think when I was about 10 years old. My dad got two rats from his friend, and we tried to make them as a pet. It was a white rats though basically very good to be a pet but they got away though and we don't know where they are until now.

5. If I walked into your kitchen, where are the cups? It is in the right closet, at the bottom section.

6. Since you already let me in your home, I found the cup and had water, now where's the bathroom from the kitchen? The bathroom is located north of the kitchen so you need to just go straight up and turn slight right.

7. Have you ever pet a turtle or tortoise? Nope. Not at all.

Multitasking Gadget: Xbox

When we went to my Connecticut a few weeks ago, we stayed at a friend’s house for the whole week of our vacation. When we were there, we also watch movies and play games from their Xbox. I am so amazed of how some electronics works these days because I have found out that using Xbox, you can able to watch movies instantly, sing karaoke, and play games at the same time while chatting with other players from all over the world. Now, I was looking forward to maybe get some XBox system because I can do anything with it which is pretty cool, truly a multi-tasking gadget, well, I hope I will have some money to buy one, though.

Freed from Bed Bugs!

Last week we went for a one week to Connecticut to see some special friends, where we stayed at their house. Then, just yesterday we came back home from our long drive road trip. It was a very tiring day especially when we had a toddler in the car because we always been stopping to stretch some legs and then go to the restroom, or calm a fussy toddler for being so bored and tired being in the car for hours. Good thing, we have decided to stay for one night in a hotel somewhere in Pennsylvania. When we were there, I was so surprised that their hotel was somewhat seem like a cheaper hotel in the Philippines. I don’t know why but it seems like cheaper than I expect. We paid like $69.99 for one room, but it never worth that price, so when I was there I was so convinced that surely there are some bed bugs somewhere because of their usual smell. I don’t know if it is their room deodorizer but it is kind uncomfortable smell for me.

Then, it’s been like 11 pm when we were able to get settle down and went to the bed to sleep but it’s been a while before I can able to sleep. I don’t want to go out though just to find a better and fresh look hotel room, but we just decided to stay for a night and to have some means to take a bath and change our clothes. Good thing, I have received some samples of bed bug products Luggage Encasements from USBedBugs.com that I could bring with me. So, when we travel last week, I brought a drawer liner for my clothes and a garment bag for my son’s clothes that we just needed to use while we were at the hotel plus I have the large suitcase encasement for our luggage too. I was so surprise since my clothes never even smell. I am so glad that I have some encasement that left me feel comfortable and safe in some way.
Now, I am convinced that Bugzip is truly a big help for me to stop bring bed bugs home. Also, I can’t wait to go for our final vacation this December when we were planning to travel to Florida to visit my father in law. I am so excited to use these products to prevent our stuff from bugs or other pests.

You want it? All you need to do is visit their website www.northshorecare.com for more details and more products availability such as protect-a-bed AllerZip Bed Bug Proof Mattress Encasements, ClimbUp Insect Interceptors, also called Bed Bug Monitors, PackTite Portable Bed Bug Heater and GreenClean Dissolvable Laundry Bags.

Be safe from all these unwanted bugs and pests, try Bed Bugs today!

Then Sings My Soul Saturday: With All I Am

This is my second time to join The Sings My Soul Saturdays. Although, I am a bit day late, but it is better late than never, right?
Well, I wanted to share a song from Hillsong again, sung by Darlene Zschech entitled "With All I Am".

This song reminds me of after I was saved, I know that with all I am, I am all His. And the reason behind that I was born in this world is to serve and love him with all I am and that I am belong to Him only. This is such a wonderful song that I would never get tired of listening to and that it always reminds me that through difficulties and obstacles in life, I would always believe in him.

Music, Movie and Book

[Listen] What music did your family listen to as you were growing up, and did that music end up influencing you in any way?

~My parents does not listen to music that much, but one of the music they enjoyed once in a while is listening to Carpenters.

[Watch] What is your most quotable movie? And if you want, share a couple quotes from it.

~I love the movie The Notebook. Here are some of quotable quotes from the movie:

*I am no one special. Just a common man with common thoughts. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I've loved another with all my heart and soul and for me that has always been enough.

*Noah: The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That's what I hope to give you forever.

*Summer romances end for all kinds of reason. But, when all is said and done, they have one thing in common - they are shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, a fleeting glimpse of eternity and in a flash they are gone.

[Read] Think about the last book you read. In what ways were you similar to the writer or narrator?

~The last book I have read is the Twilight Saga sequel: New Moon. I can't see any similarity with the writer Stephanie Meyer, though.

About This And That And That Other Thing

1. Hypothetical question- you are in a building with famous works of art, old manuscripts of famous novels, and original sheet music from famous composers. The building is on fire and looks to be completely destroyed. Do you grab any of the famous works before fleeing, and if so what? ~ No, I would just leave it there as a memorial and taking those famous stuff is stealing even though it is meant saving those works from fire.

2. In August 1969, the Manson family went on a 2 night killing spree. Do you think 40 years later they have paid for their crimes?

~I don't think so, they were still waiting for judgment I guess.

3. Power Outage! What's the longest you have been without power?
~ I don't remember, maybe a week ago where it lasted for like 30 minutes.

4. Just bought a new tazer gun. Will you let it be tested it on you to see if it works, and how it feels to be tazered?
~No way! Never mind don't care what it feels like to be tazered.

5. A neighbor's mail was delivered to you. In it is a magazine not wrapped in plastic. Is it ok for you to flip through it before giving it to the neighbor? Do you tell them you looked through it?
~Sure! Why not, they would think about it anyway that probably I flip it open.

6. If I went through your purse/wallet right now, what all would I find in there?
~Maybe, coupons, cashcards, some cash, coins, debit card, ID's and photos.

7. Have you been living under a rock?
~Nope.

8. Tell us something crazy you did this week.
~Well, not this week though, it was last week, when we went to CT and went to the Dinosaur Place. I pretend I was eaten by a shark and stuck my head on its mouth. It was so crazy because my son was looking at me like "what is she doing?".

Worst Lockout Ever

What's the worst story about a time you locked yourself out?

It was two years ago, I was about a month after giving birth. We live in an apartment at that time where the laundry room is basically located inside the building. I was doing the laundry at that time and when I went out to check the clothes, I did not notice I did not bring the key at all. I was locked in outside and I could not find anyone to help me out. I was so sad because I could hear my baby crying because he just got up and maybe hungry. I could not ask other renters because they might think I had a postpartum depression and I could not take good care of my baby or even myself because I locked myself out. So, I was outside of our apartment for an hour sitting at the floor. It was cold too and it’s wintery outside, so I can’t able to just walk to the apartment office to ask for help. I can’t even borrow a cell phone because I am afraid to do so. It was a very night mare since then I always have my keys with me even though I am going outside to pick up mails.

Wish I Could...

It’s been a month since I started drinking soda again; it was so sad because I feel like I am too tired again and wanted to just sleep. Then, until now I am still waiting for my menstrual period which is so alarming to me because I have been 5 days delayed now. I know it was all because of drinking a soda pop. I also feel that my belly is gaining weight again, I wish I could find a diet pills that would work to help me losing my weight in some way. Now, I have decided and wish I could stop drinking soda again because I know it will help me to feel much better and healthier again like before, when I only drink water every time. I feel like my skin is not dry and I don't have headaches too. I think it is better to drink pop once a week or nothing at all.
