Done Putting Away

Finally, I have time to toot since I am so busy with the house and our recent moving, I am somewhat very tired and my mind never even work at all and don't know what to say as well. Although, I am very tired and still putting away stuff, I am thankful that minute by minute I worked, I saw that it was almost done. I have moving into a new home since loading and unloading always takes a lot of time and work. I even forgot to eat my meals for two days now and good thing now I am able to get back online and eat my meals on time. I am done unpacking and unloading, though, but we all need is to put stuff away at their own places. It takes a lot of time because hubby needs to go to work and good thing I can able to do stuff on my own like putting frames and photos on the wall that I wanted them to be.

Now, I wanted to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend for our upcoming road trip vacation. We are going to be out of state and I am so excited about it.

Things I Wanted to DO for Fun

This is the Question of the Week: What are ten things that you like to do for fun? Would they have been on your list five years ago?

I have lots of things that I really wanted to do just for fun, of course. But, sometimes, we can able to do so because of some circumstances and some things that sometimes we can't able to do so. Yes, some of them were like almost a few years ago but still on pending mode...

Well, my top ten are:

  1. Going to the Philippines for a family vacation, traveling to visit my friends and to do things with them that I have been missing for four years now.
  2. Driving - it's been a while since I haven't driving, although I don't want to...
  3. Cooking - I always love to cook but I don't have much time to do so.
  4. Reading the books that I just bought at Amazon a couple of months ago, since then I haven't started reading them yet.
  5. Swimming at the real beaches with salty water! Since I came here in MI, USA, I am stuck with lakes...:(
  6. Eat Filipino foods, I have been missing eating Filipino delicacies for four years now, especially mom's cook.
  7. Singing through a karaoke or videoke. Me and my friends always love to do it every time we are bored.
  8. Start exercising and get rid of extra post pregnancy fats. It's been two years since I started working out but I stopped. Well, I need to do it again.
  9. Saving money. I saved some money but then I ended up spending them again.
  10. Stop Shopping!

What to Get?

Hubby and I were talking about buying a new car for me to drive, since we only own one car which we always shared together, I supposed maybe this time, I can able to buy my own car. Well, thank goodness hubby agreed about my idea, maybe because he is tired too of me using his car. So, now I have been thinking of what kind of car insurance to get too because I wanted to pay a cheaper and reliable car insurance that I can afford. Maybe, I could able to drag hubby to change his car insurance as well into a cheaper and yet dependable, if I find cheaper insurance. What do you think what would I get? Any recommendations?

[Listen] Any song stuck in your head right now? Or do you remember the last song to be stuck in your head–what was it?

~I was watching a TV series from a Philippine Network entitled "The Wedding" - that's where I heard the song "I can't help falling in love with you."

Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can’t help
Falling in love with you

Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can’t help
Falling in love with you

Shall I stay
Would it be a sin
If I can’t help
Falling in love with you

As a river flows
Gently to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things were meant to be

Take my hand
Take my whole life too
Cause I can’t help
Falling in love with you

As a river flows
Gently to the sea
Darling so we go
Some things were meant to be

Take my hand
Take my whole life too
Cause I can’t help
Falling in love with you

Oh I can’t help
Falling in love with you...

Since then, I always sing this song especially when I'm cooking...even though I only just hum the song...

[Watch] Will you/did you see the new Harry Potter movie this week? In general, have you ever attended a midnight showing of a major film the night it was released?

~No, not this week. Maybe, I will wait for it on DVD. I don't really watch movies on theater because it really cost a lot of money than renting it.

[Read] What is your favorite category of non-fiction? (History, culture, humor, etc.)

~I love humor and culture.

Health Care Affordability

Strong majorities of Americans across the political spectrum would support diverse approaches to expanding health insurance coverage, including letting uninsured adults participate in Medicare or state public insurance programs, such as Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program, offering tax credits for people to purchase coverage on their own or requiring employers to offer and contribute to the cost of their employees' health insurance coverage.

Affected by Natural Disaster

Have you or your family been affected by a natural disaster?

~ It was last 1990, when my family went to an upper peninsula of the island in the Philippines where mostly a popular location that was being hit by typhoons. We are hit by Typhoon at approximately signal number 4. It was a very dangerous situation since my parents work and managed a lumber factory where at the same time living on the same compound, so basically there's a lot of lumbers and tools all over the place. My sister and I were inside our house when the typhoon hits us, but my brother was inside the factory when the storm started as its force. My mom was so mad because my brother was on the factory and we will never know if he was safe there, and he can’t get back into the house because of the roofs and trees were dragging and flying around by the strong wind and it was really dangerous. The typhoon almost last a whole day and it was so scary and very eerie too when we noticed that our roof was coming off, good thing it was still intact though. Also, we are all glad that my brother was safe as well. Then, after the typhoon we ended up no electricity for a week and no school for about a month.

Going Away Up North

This is going to be my last post for the day because my family will be heading up north for a weekend vacation and also for the 4th of July getaway. We will be going away for the weekend and will be back by Sunday night because I will have my exam by Monday which was ridiculous, but it was way better though because supposedly my exam will be until yesterday, so good thing my teacher extended it because of the holiday which is quite an advantage for me because I will have a chance to enjoy the rest of the weekend with barbecues, campfire and s’mores! Then, to watch the live fireworks show at the Lake Huron again, I wonder how will be the firework show this time.

Also, I can’t wait until we can able to get together again and play some games or share some scary stories. Or either hear some coyotes again, yes, right, we heard a coyote’s howling or wailing at farthest location, but we don’t know where they was basically, but it feel like I they’re closer to us. Well, I never heard of a coyote’s cry before and for me, it is impelling so now I can’t wait to see maybe some coyote or maybe a bear or a deer. I know it is funny but isn’t it diverting to see these animals? Oh well…

Somehow, we will be driving off the road and hopefully we will enjoy the four hour road trip. It is going to be fun; I hope so, especially for my son. Well, I am still waiting for my boys to get up though because we are quite sleep late last night, therefore, they were still asleep while I am trying to update my blogs.
Anyway, there will be no internet up there, so I can’t able to update and check my blogs and so as to approve any entrecard requests right away, but I can do it by Monday, hopefully, and I’ll promise you that and I can return your visit back.
Well, it’s time for me to go now and see you all guys next week! And to all the US residents, have a happy 4th of July!
