Garden of Moments

It's Friday, but two hours more to go it's going to be Saturday already. Wow time flies by quickly and without even noticing it, it is going to be Monday again.

Anyway, this week's theme for Small Talk Six is: 6 of your favorite sweet treats in the whole world.

1. Ice cream cake - I never get tired of it, even though I will have them everyday! Especially the Oreo ice Cream cake, it was so delicious that I can't resist it.

2. Cassava Cake - one of the famous Asian recipe in the Philippines. I missed them so much too. Although, I usually bake on special occasions.


3. Chocolates - M&M's peanut is always the best, every adults and children loved it. Also, some kitkat bars, Butterfingers, and dove.

4. Rice Cake ( Suman ) - It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, and often steamed in banana leaves.


5. Pastillas De Leche and yema (Milk candies) - they are very irresistible and a mouth watering candies.


6. All time favorite of mine is Sapin Sapin - It is made from rice flour or rice that has been soaked overnight then crushed into a paste, sometimes yams or yam flour, coconut milk and sugar. Each layer is tinted (the bottom one a deep ube-like purple, the middle a golden yolk yellow,the top one white), and steamed before the next layer is added.



Now, I was craving for all of these recipes, too bad!
