A Good Outcome

It's time for my Tuesday Tooting! It's been a while since I haven't done posting my Tuesday Toot every Tuesday due to the fact, that I have lots of homework, that's what the student are for, right? Anyway, my toot for tonight is just so funny. After two times of trying to bake a "Cassava Cake," I finally did it better. Cassava cake is a well-known classic Filipino dessert. There's a lot of ways how to make a cassava cake. My original recipe is just cassava cake, condensed milk, coconut milk, eggs and cheese. But, when I have tried to find something new and maybe a helpful recipe as well, I finally found it at Recipezaar.com. The only thing that I did different is to add grated cheese on it.

Mostly, you can find a grated Cassava on any Asian Market.

Ingredients

• 2 lbs grated cassava
• 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
• 1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
• 1 (13 ounce) can coconut cream
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 3 eggs, plus
• 3 egg whites
• 1 cup grated coconut

Topping
• 3 egg yolks, condensed milk and coconut milk.

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325° f.
2. In large mixing bowl combine cake ingredients.
3. Mix well.
4. Pour equally into two large greased rectangular pans.
5. Bake until top is no longer liquid (approximately 30 minutes).
6. Mix topping ingredients well and spread evenly on the two cakes.
7. Bake an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
8. Cool cakes completely.
9. Slice each cake into 24 equal squares.

Isn't it looks yummy?

It's absolutely a good thing to toot about!
