Moving to another State

Would you consider moving to another state than the one in which you now live, for a job? Is it as easy as “yes” or “no” or would it depend on the state? Would it depend on the job?

Yes. If I can find a better job with high pay in other state, why not? And I guess, it would depend on the other state as well. My husband and I are planning to move as well, since the Michigan economy as of now is pretty poor, no jobs available especially in the field of education. So, for me, finding another job in the other state also will consider of what was the economy situation. So, I guess, I would depend on the state then my job or vice versa...

My First Love

Who was your first love? Ehem! what an interrogation question that scares me to answer it! Not to mention the name. He is my brother in Christ. He was about 3 years older than me. He is a good player when it comes to instruments such as piano and guitar. Maybe, that's one of the reason why I was drawn to him more than others. We became boyfriend and girlfriend since then after our training in our Church. Then we've been off in communication since we live so far from each other. We have an off and on relationship. Until he told me that he still love his ex-girlfriend, it was a heart ache for me, but because I truly being blinded by love, I accept the fact and even offer him that I will help him to forget about her ex-girlfriend (tanga kaayo no?) But anyway, after 2 to 3 years of being in a relationship, we became off. I was once regret why I broke up with him. Until he came back to me and decided not to take things fast but still he still wanted me back, just come what may ika nga, so I think about it, we talked a lot, we forgive and forget and we just came back of where we at, on the first time that we met. Until I came to the point of just getting over with it. Maybe, I got tired and just lost the first love that I used to feel before. It just happen naturally...when I tried to just not go on with the relationship? I just let it go...After a month of just let it go and go on? I met my husband...so I guess, everything has a purpose!

Adapting the New Things/Surroundings

Do you easily adapt to new things/surroundings?

~ It depends. There are somethings or surroundings that is not easy to adapt with. Maybe, with the environment, the people around, the ambiance or maybe the things in it. When I visit my relatives way back in the Philippines wherein I stayed with them for a week or so? I never been used to the thing, and all the time, I am always been so sensitive with the smell and taste. Then, when they were doing somethings that I could not ride on, I just choose to not do it, instead be alone or wait till things may be comfty for me. When it comes to people, it totally takes a while for me to get used to. Since for me, I choose the people I wanted to be with, that I could feel comfortable and just to be me. I think it's too hard to pretend if you don't really like it.
When I arrived here in US about four years ago, it takes a while for me to adapt the new environment, especially the food, as well as the weather, but about a year or two, I was getting used to it and now I am fine.

Truth be told, you're not the most interesting person in the world. Yes I guess I am not! People don't get interest of me, unless they wanted to know more about me.

You don't put much effort into expanding your horizons. You're content to stay in your little comfort zone. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. I just felt content if what I am right now, and I need some little push here. When I went to school, sometimes I thought, is it really necessary? But then, my husband always there for me to support me and to see things right.

You tend to get stuck in a rut, and you often bore people who spend time with you.
I think so. Sometimes, I'm not in the mood to not talk to anyone at all. Like in my school here in US, I never tend to talk to people, if they don't talk to me, then fine. I don't! (magsakit ba diay akong ngipon) but sometimes I do. I tried to be friendly as much as I could, and then, it depends on the person if she really likes me or not. It's not reallu a big thing...

You are predictable and somewhat narcissistic. You're too focused on yourself to see how boring you can be.
I know, I am boring. I just love to make my own things and just to be me.

You have the potential to be an incredibly fascinating person. You just have to be a little more proactive.
I know! LOL! I just don't care about it at all.

I still vividly remember when I was a little girl I have my own rubber stamps, it was absolutely a fun one since it has a lot of stamp images that added a cute, pretty design to any books, stationery or even letters for my friends, and that's quite a fun for me. ~Sometimes, I never felt this way, maybe because people here in America would say, I looked like a 16 or 17 years old teenager, but actually I'm already 26. Sometimes, they got surprised that I was already 26, never seem to be. But I was indeed 26, my in laws envied me that I was still young, that makes me somewhat proud as well...but sometimes, deep inside when I look at the mirror and saw my 22 month old son at my back, smiling, sometimes, I said, I'm old and I'm a mother now. When I felt muscle pain on my legs, on my back, headache, with my eye glasses on since I have a poor vision that makes me feel so old too. I know it was just an inferior excuses compare to the rest of mommies out there, but for me it was really makes me feel far advanced for my age.

Some Fruits of Labor

I started blogging like 11 months ago. So glad everything did went well. I earned friends and extra income and I am very proud that I am a successful blogger for just months. Successful blogger in a sense that I could able to share my thoughts and feelings, share some memories to my friends and family as well as to share my opinion towards anything that might interest me and to have business with. With that, I earned extra income which is so helpful for me as well. From this moment on, I can able to buy what I want without asking my husband any of the expenses. I saved some of this money too, I could able to send some money for my family in the Philippines, and also I could able to buy what I wanted for my family and for myself. I am so thankful that through blogging I could able to buy what I want and share it with my family and also makes me happy and contented. I suspect I’ve done a similar question before (hey, I’ve been doing this for years; there are bound to be some duplicates) but… are you superstitious about a black cat crossing your path, walking under a ladder, the number 13 or 666, breaking a mirror, or knocking on wood? If not those, is there anything else that you’re superstitious about?

Way back in the Philippines, we all have a superstitious or folk beliefs. Some of them were unbelievable but there's nothing wrong if you believe, right? These are some what old people say way back. I have this superstitious belief for quite a while and there's tons of them. So, I have to number them out here.

• First, not to try out the wedding dress before the wedding, since it could be a bad sign, or maybe your fiance will get into an accident and died.
• Second,Lying down with your feet facing the door will bring you an early death
• Third, If a spoon falls during a meal, you will be visited by a woman. If it is a fork, a man will be visiting, while if it is a teaspoon, it will be a child.
• Fourth, Before you bathe in a spring or river, you must first ask permission form the engkantos (spirits who have the power to enchant people) who dwell there. Otherwise, you might fall ill.

First Bestfriend in School

Who was your first bestfriend in school? My bestfriends... Let me start when I was in elementary, I think it's Mae Valencia. Then, we've got separated. I guess, she and I had a separate section during High school. So with my high school times, I had lots of best friend to consider, one is Ms. Sharon Duero, she is also my maid of honor and Janice Cribillo whom I missed after High school graduation. I have heard about her a couple of times, but never again. During my high school times, I have a group of friends, and maybe half of the students in a class is my friends, so...and when I was in college, it was Jurizel Barbajo and Vivian Dionsay, were both married now and have kids, we're all went to the same Church too, and they were my bridesmaids as well. Overall, I guess, Sharon is my bestfriend, maybe, because we're living on the same district and it is so easy for us to meet and see each other.

Is Running Away the only Solution?

Was there a time in your life when you thought “running away” was the only solution to your problem?

~Yes. It was way back before I met my husband. I was then in my college years. We had difficulties with financial matter and so I couldn't even continue my schooling. My eldest sister who lives then here in US, told me to just continue my studies and she will support me. I was then at a great relief. But as what matter, my family, my dad whom gave us some problem in regards with his vices, so my mom was also having hard times to cope up with this situation. I am in the point of running away, when it is already too hard to deal with. When my dad had been diagnosed with sickness it was really so upsetting, especially for my mom. I felt so pity for my mom as well, so that's stopped me as well from running away. Until I met my husband and got married. I thought this is going to be my only solution to get away with this hardships and just to live alone and start my own family. I was thinking about it now, and it was really so sad since I missed my family now, the Filipino dishes and all, but still hoping that someday I can visit them someday. For me, running away is the only solution you could think of in the time of crisis, but when you see it through, it also makes you strong and knows how to face your own trials in life. Now, I am quite strong enough to face my own life challenges and of course, I would thank my family for giving me such strength.

Well, if I could make up a candy bar to describe myself? It could be all chocolate with caramel and peanuts! ~The Message in a Bottle and the Notebook. I love the both sequence. For the Message in a Bottle? I love the movie better, since I can see it. I think most of the story were the same. Unlike, the Notebook, there's some changes made, but still, it's a good movie.

Effective Scheduling

When I'm out of school for couple of years, I don't care what my days went by, just don't have any proper scheduling when it comes with my daily schedules, all I did was just go with the flow and come what may...but now, that I had to go to school, I needed to wake up at the certain time every morning, pick up my child out of his crib and prepare something for him to eat. Then, I cooked myself some breakfast and we're then eating. By the time we've finished I had to turn on the PC and wait for it to settle..you know what I mean when you open up a PC. So, while waiting, I clean up the kitchen and put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. So, now I am here, to continue my blogging, and maybe spend 2to 3 hours, until all the pending assignment is done. Then, will do my work out since I was trying to lose some of the baby fats as well, so....then, put my son into the crib, while I was taking a shower and get dressed for school. Then, dress him up and wait for hubby to get home. With all those activities, I find the day is so quick and fast! Sooner or later, it is going to be another weekend!
Anyway, sometimes, it is too hard to follow new rules, especially if you are not used to it, sometimes I break some of them and just don't do anything, sometimes, I would say, maybe after school or maybe on Thursday since I don't have school then. It is too hard to be a mom, and to be a part time student at the same time! So glad I don't work at all! Oh wait? Blogging is considered as a work, right? I earned some moola from it, though! Oh well..I hope I could stay up with this new rule that I've made....or else I'll be sorry then...

Today is the end of the weekend! I must have to do all of my task before the day is over. Now, it's my time for Unconscious Muttering.

1. Cut the crap :: Make the things over! Now my husband was watching Austin Powers I hate this movie a lot, though I wanted to say cut the crap? But I can't! He loves it!
   


2. Scent ::I love my husband's Acqua Di Gio perfume. I just always love it's sweetest scent.
   


3. Vanishing :: Yes! Vanishing! Why does the money got vanished so easily! Oh boy!
   


4. Wetness ::yup! that's what I always feel with my son's diaper. So I had to change him right there and then.
   


5. Cheap :: I always love cheap prices! That's why, when I went shopping, I always find a clearance items on sale.
   


6. Badges ::I find blog badges very cute. I have seem a lot of blogs now that also at the same time has their own badges. That's so perfectly cute.
   


7. Puppy ::I love puppy, especially the Labrador puppies. I still vividly remember before I got pregnant, I really wanted to have a dog pup, the weird thing is, when I didn't know that I was pregnant, I felt this need to have someone to care good care of, and that would be a pup. But then, God and hubby gave me a baby, instead.
   


8. Problem solver ::I am not a problem solver at all. My hubby does. I am so bad at problem solving either on Math work.
   


9. Gambling ::I don't really gamble but I would love to play with it, if I have given a chance to.

First Love Never Dies....

Do you believe in first love never dies?

I think so. For me, though I never felt the same love that I had before to the person ( Of course, not in love anymore with this guy, now that I've married) but still the love that I experienced during those moments was seems still there. The special love that I felt was seem so extraordinary and exceptional, which I just wasted in, of course, it is regretful but then, it is still wonderful that I had to feel those kind of feeling. It is so wonderful to fell in love, right? Especially if it's the first love which seem never last. I remember the song from Lea Salonga but will change it a bit...rather, I don't remember the boy but I still remember the feeling... Well, isn't that weird?

Internet is Back!

After 3 days with no Internet connection, I felt so quite and alone. I am so eager to wait for today, for out cable network to connect again. For some reason, they cut it off last Tuesday due to another connection from the previous owner which will end last Tuesday. So, they cut it off without knowing it wasn't under our name yet! So, for a month we're using a free Internet, that's a good news! Now, we had one month free since the default is not on us. Now, I'm back from this blogging world! So sorry for those who visited my site and leave me a comment, I missed it for 2 days. Now, I'm here I will try to cope up what I've been missing!

Done with Tasks

It's time for my Tuesday Tooting! Today is Tuesday, and I'm just so glad I had a good night sleep from last night when my son was having difficulties to to sleep. Finally, I have found some ways for him to settle at his bed and went to sleep. That's a nice one, maybe, will do it over and over again, if he doesn't want to go to bed yet. Anyway, my sister came over for the weekend and today is the time that she needs to go to work, and her day off was over. I am going to miss her again. We're living away from each other for about 45 to an hour. A long drive, indeed. But after those busy moments we had, I'd still accomplished what I needed to do to finish all my homework for this week's classes. I am so happy, since I thought it could be harder than I thought. Last night, I just did my brand new homework which was given by my teacher for the next day of classes! That's good for me! Now, I'm still looking forward to be done with my tasks despite of hectic schedules and with tot on my side.
