Will Moving Out Soon!

I'm so excited to be in our new home pretty soon. I just couldn't wait! Now that I've been waiting for it, it seem like it was so slow...I just can't help not to wait for tomorrow. I'm dying here for our impending move, so I hope it will be over soon. We're moving to a 2 bedroom home this time and just so happy about it, since our son finally has his own room.
Anyway, I'm so surprised that we still have the Internet connection, they supposed to shut it off today. Well, luckily, since I could still have the chance to get some opps today. They probably will shut it off tonight at around midnight.
Well, tomorrow we will be so busy loading the stuff to a moving truck! I wish you could help us out guys! hehehe! Now, I'm almost done, day by day, I was trying to pack up some stuff for 5 now and still doing it. I didn't know we had lots of stuff until we're moving out. It's like endless...I hope it will be over soon. Sometimes, it is so tiring to move...I just couldn't take it anymore. Somehow, this is a good thing too to find a newer, nicer place to live.

Well, see you all guys next week then, I guess! I'll be so pretty busy on this coming weekend too, plus we will be going over to my sister in law, for his son's birthday party, and possibly be still out of Internet for a while...

It's time for my 3x Thursday. But before I go on and answer the question. I wanted to thank Lalaine of Day to Day Miracles for making a giveaway contest. I truly appreciated it. Well, I was one of the winners to get a Thai Letter holder.
Well, now here's my answer for today's 3x Thursday.

1. Environmental: What do you think of the environment, people trying to 'save' it, etc?
~ I guess, it is better to still save it. Plant more trees and stop throwing garbage everywhere where garbage is not supposed to. I'm not en environmentalist, but I care about our environment. Also, having a good environment can be a great help as well in times of natural disasters.

2. Political: Even if you don't pay attention to politics, what's important to you regarding how this country continues to evolve (or devolve)?
~Maybe, to maintain having a responsible and considerate leader. But we know it is quite far off but I guess, having a well maintained government. Lessen the gas prices and taxes. Find a leader who cares about us!

3. Personal: Are you happy? Why/why not?
~Yes, I'm totally happy. I'm happy with my husband and with my son. They're totally the happiness of my life. Sometimes, life can be so tough, we're I felt so down and stressful, but I guess that's life. But for some reason, sometimes this sadness changed into happiness, which makes life worth living for.

Need a Cuddler?

Summer is just around the corner here in Michigan, once in a while it gets hotter but when the sun goes down, the cold weather comes nearer. I'm really prone to cold, I get chilly all the time. When we had our Up North vacation a couple of weeks ago, my family decided to just stay at one of the room in the cabin. When it's almost midnight, it became more colder and chilly, so bad, I couldn't have anything other than the light comforter we had on the bedroom, which seem doesn't even work at all. I could still feel the chilling and the coldness, plus, my mother in law, don't have enough pillows too, so I was having hard times to breathe as well, since most of the time, I used two pillows on my head due to my sinus or whatever. So, I thought maybe next time when we go up there, I will bring my own travel blanket and pillows for sure. Good thing to know about Cabin Cuddler. Out of Blogging

Tomorrow is the last day of our Internet connection, since we will be moving out very soon. By then, I don't know what day is, that our Internet provider is going to connect our Internet again. I hope it will never takes a while, or else, I will be missing the blogging at once. I don't what time are they going to disconnect the Internet, but I will try to turn on the computer and see if I can still log in. Maybe, they will turn it off by tomorrow at midnight, I don't know but will see. Well, I just wanted to let all of you know that I will be out for a while from the Blogosphere. However, you can be a wimp at times, especially in stressful situations.

You can be overwhelmed or intimidated or just plain scared when life gets rough.

While these are natural reactions, you may want to face your fears a little more.

Are You a Wimp?

I'm a strong fighter person. Sometimes, I wimped due to some stressful events but mostly I tend to carry myself in a way of how to face the challenge. Sometimes, I just take a nap just to forget everything for a while. The result is true to me on some situation. I think I need to face more the reality of life. If I have problem, I could still be able to sleep. But not my hubby, he couldn't able to sleep if he's having problem. That is why, I could tell he has one since he couldn't sleep until 5 am in the morning! :)

Thrifty as Possible

Honestly, I'm not a money saver. Mostly, I tend to spend a lot. But sometimes, when times get tough and I need to save money for something. I am really a money saver too. Sometimes, my ways of saving money is to pretend that I don't have anything at all, no money or whatsoever. It is just a mind set, it sounds weird but this is what I intend to do, just to control myself from spending. Also, I stopped going out to eat as well as going to the shopping mall. Or even going to any merchants online. One of the best way to save money is to shred your debit or credit card, by then, you can eventually save more money as you never did before. It sounds crazy but it is a great help too, especially if you are using a credit card charge or else you will be drown with Credit card debt. There's a lot of ways to save money, it is just depend on the person of how he should save his money. For me, I just control myself not to spend any penny at all. Sometimes, I minimize the use of some of my expensive facial cleanser or soap, just to prevent myself of buying them again. I know, in regards with saving money, it is better to keep yourself out of debt as much as possible. But if you suffer from too much debt, Bankruptcy is not always the best solution to take. Memorable Kissing Moments

I've decided to post today's weekly Feast theme in here since it is all about us, as a family. Since today's theme for Pinaymommies Weekly Feast is that we will create a post displaying a picture of me and my hubby kissing or me, kissing our baby. I'm always the one who took photos of us. So, it is so hard for me to find one certain picture of me kissing my son. The last time, I checked on it, I don't have really have one. That's sad! Maybe, this time I should've ask hubby to take some photos of me and my son.
Anyway, I'm always the one who took photos of them. So, obviously, my hubby has lots of pictures of him and my son. I always got a good shot every time my hubby was with my son, and that I have something to share here.

The first photo was taken when we're inside the cabin, when suddenly, my sister in law wanted us to give our son some sweet kisses, and so we did it, the second one, was when they were at the campfire, and so as the fourth photo. All of these photo was taken by my sister in law during our Up North vacation last year. Finally, I was on the picture.
Except with the two, though, yet, it was taken by me. I took the third photo during our family picnic at the Metro Beach Park here in MI. Actually our first picnicking together with our son, Josh. It was taken last summer. The fifth photo was my son's first doctor visit, he was then about 7 days old. My husband was kissing him since he said, he couldn't help it not to. So, I took a photo of them, right then.

Nothing New So Far

It's time for my Tuesday Toot but I don't have much stuff to toot about. Well, as far as my back to school event, I already registered to some of the classes I need to take for this Fall semester. Well, I was kind a excited but nervous at the same time. Well, for now, we're preparing to move again out of this city where we at right now. We're going to move closer to my school and my hubby's. It could be so sad for all of us since we will be more farther to my in laws as well as to my dearie sister. I will surely missed them a lot! But anyhow, so glad to know that all we needed to take good care of was all done. I did all the packing little by little, until it was all done. So glad my mother in law came over and helped me to do some stuff that I needed to packed. She is just so sweet! I lover her so much! Anyway, for this weekend, I would be probably busy to settle all of our stuff into our new place to live and of course, to think about what to do on my hubby's birthday! Well, that's always a Mom's Life! Always busy and busy.....ell, there's a lot of things to Toot, though but now, I'm just so busy!!

I'm a Mom

When I became a mom, I don't know ho to deal with it. During my pregnancy, I was kind a hesitant if I'll be a good mother or if I know how to take good care of my baby. Until, he was born. I was at first, learning....until it comes so naturally...I think being a woman, motherly nature always comes with it. It is already one of the woman's essence.
After a while, I started to accept my situation being a mom, it is somewhat difficult at first, due to some things we needed to do on a newborn but as time flies by, I became more attached to him. It flows so naturally that it makes me to miss him if I didn't do the things I wanted to do. It was a wonderful career to be a mom! I'm so glad God gave me this sweet opportunity to be one.
Now, I always cherished and appreciated my mom, for all she does for us. It is quite a big task, unending. Now, I know that I'm a mom, now and forever!

Alzheimer is one of the disease which most senior citizen of America suffers. Through this, sometimes, it seem like we lost our loved ones when they lost their memory to remember. I had my husband's great great Aunt whom suffered from Alzheimer. It was indeed a very sad illnesses. She sometimes lost and didn't even know where she's at. She hardly even remember our names. I have compassion in regards with people who suffered from any perilous illnesses. That is why, I decided to pursue a career in a health care industry. I'm looking forward to take good care of those senior citizen who had suffered from illnesses such as Alzheimer. But you can make a difference too, even though you don't take any health care career, you can help by being a part of Alzheimer's Memory Walk, just take a walk today together with over 600 communities who are looking forward to save Alzheimer victims. By teaming up with the Alzheimer's Association, we can take a walk of 2 to 3 mile during the weekend morning in the Fall. It is the time to held our helping hand to save the world without Alzheimer.

The Alzheimer's Memory Walk is the largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research in the nation. It calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer disease. So walk with us now and start moving the nation to a better place to live.

Mitch Asks, Partner Flirting Online?

I'm a bit late to join this weekly meme. But please consider me this time. I just had a busy weekend, so, I hope it is going to be fine.

On July 26 Mitch Asks "What would you do if you ever caught your partner flirting online?"

I would definitely asked him about it. I am a silent type person when I get mad. So, I guess, I will never talk to him if his answer is not convincing or made me stop to think negative. Also, why does he flirt with somebody if he was already married? It doesn't make any sense at all. If that would happen, I will never, never talk to him anymore or maybe he will never ever see us again. It was just a small problem, but it would create big disagreement, and it could ruin our trust to each other. Though, I will forgive him, but then the suspicions and curiosity will always be there. We're just human, and so temptation can be everywhere. So, it is better not to open the door, through the way of temptation, right?
As for me, I'm always be online, and the things I merely do when I'm online, is just blogging and blog hopping. There's no extra curricular activities on either both sides. Maybe, I do some chatting but always exclusively with my friends.

Having Fun

I just had so much fun during my visit to a Filipino party yesterday. I've met some Pinay friends there too that I never met before. There's a lot of babies there as well, which makes me a lot easier to get along with other mommies. It was so great to meet some Pinays especially when you were both speaking the same language, mga bisaya sad jud ang uban, halos tanan. I'm glad meeting Michelle, whom had a 4 months old baby. She's from Davao City as well, where I came from. As well as Lulu and Vanessa. There were only like three of us from Davao City. So, it is so glad to know about that. Hoping to see them again soon. But unfortunately, we will be moving farther south so, I couldn't be able to visit and join some future parties. Well, I hope they won't forget about me! I had so much fun as well with Pinoy Foods. I missed eating Filipino delicacies as well.. I hope someday I can go and visit them again.

Party Time!

My family will be going out to my friend's house today for a birthday party. The good thing about it, I'll be meeting some Pinays again down there...I missed them so much, though. The last time, I've seen them was last year, it's been a long time. Also, I'll be meeting some new ones as well. And, I guess, this will be my last time to see them again since we will be moving farther southwest this time. Well, I will surely miss some Filipino dishes too. Maybe, once in a while I could be able to visit them during special occasions, that would be a great idea. As of now, we're preparing to go to a party and maybe, will stay there for couple of hours. I'll be back probably later.

Favorites and Memories

It's time for my 3x Thursday. Today's topic is about Favorites and Memories.

1. What are your favorite kinds of plant life (plants, flowers, etc)? Why?
I love Roses and Daisy. Actually, all garden flowers will do. All various types of flowers as long as they're not attracting bees and insects. I also love green plants, like an indoor Chinese Bamboo plants. Because all of them added nice design to our patio or even to our living room. I just love plants. Maybe, I got it from my mom.


2. Do you associate any memories with certain things (flowers, objects, etc)? Any you'd care to share?
Well, my husband always love to give me dozen of roses when we were still dating! The first time I met him, the first bouquet of roses, I received from him was all Red and then, again during my birthdays, and some special occasions. During my wedding in the Philippines, I had bouquet of white roses and so as my wedding here in US. I think I love roses, then! Oh wait! all of my suitors during my teen years cared enough to give me roses too! Duh! There's could be something about roses, then..but still I couldn't figure it out what is it....:) (thinking)

3. By what method do you keep track of your memories (blogs, scrapbooks, etc)? If you don't do anything to preserve your memories, how do you keep track of them? Does it matter to you?
I just kept them down the memory lane. If it's a good and nice memories, I absolutely would kept them in some parts of my memory, lol but if its not, well, will try to forget about it. Sometimes, I just blog some of them or maybe took photos of them. But, I don't really do scrapbooking. But if I have a chance to, why not? I love scrapbooking, I was looking forward to that idea as well, maybe some memories of my son when he was still little and vulnerable.

PMC and Pinay Mommy

I'm trying to recall when and where did I landed on being a PMC member. As far as I could remember, PMC (Pinay Mommies Community) before was on a web ring type of website. I signed up and flattered to be among of those mommy members who joined the ring, I don't know what happened but seem like I wasn't active at that time so I didn't know what's going on. After a few months, I heard and see that PMC was having a new forum again, but then, it seem like it never works out. Well, I would gladly say, Mommy Ruby (a.k.a Pinay Mommy) had so much patience and readiness to make PMC a success, and that's where she revised, renewed the new PMC, in which she created a forum. A new forum with lots of fun and excitement from all Pinay Moms and Wives. Through this, I gained some new blogger friends, I have time to share my thoughts and ideas towards other mommies, learn from all their tips and advices, enjoy games and fun and so much more.

Anyway, if you would asked me how and why I always be on PMC? Well, let's blame Mommy Ruby for this, lol..just kidding Mommy! She's the one who always invited me to join. Then, me being a good follower, signed up and joined the forum all the time. At first, only few was there. So, I wrote a post about it to invite all mommies in the world from all of my blogs. I don't know if it does work out but I'm glad I helped PMC in little way, I could think of. Then, suddenly, it blooms and I noticed that there's already about 310 members today. I'm glad PMC this time is successful. I'm so glad that Mommy Ruby never forgets me to be invited.

My Picnic Basket

My family loves picnicking. Sometimes, we just go to the beach or by the lake, just to have picnic while enjoying the warm breeze of Summer here in Michigan. Even though, we don't have much something to bring along with our picnicking, it is somewhat enjoyable to do every weekend. After, we had our picnic, sometimes, hubby and I stopped at the nearest food chain to get something to eat, though, it is not a good idea. I really wanted to bring something that we can eat during our outdoor picnic but sometimes, it is too late for me to cook or even go to the store to just buy something that is ready to eat. No time at all to prepare or bring meals that we can enjoy together.

Back To School

After two months of reviewing all of my courses that I took when I was still in the Philippines, I'm now finally took the placement tests. It is a placement test that is required for any community colleges here in US. So, I finally took mine and I'm glad everything went good. Now, I'm on the point of finding some class schedules that hopefully be flexible with my husband's schedules too. It really takes a lot of time to think about what we're going to do, but thankfully, there's always a solution. Hopefully, I'm going back to school this Fall and once again will sharpen my brain after almost 4 years of being out of school, again, I'm going to open a book!!!oh grr...I hate it! heheheh...I know, it is quite too hard, eh! Since, I'm not getting used to the idea of being a student while doing the job as a stay at home mom, a housewife who just cook meals and clean the house, now, I need to open my books and do my homework. It is very new to me to go back to school very soon, but I know it will take time to get fit in again. I hope I could still do it. I know it needs a lot of adjustments, and apparently needs more time.
Meeting new people, especially with the idea of being at the foreign school is a second thing I am curious about too. I never been to a foreign school that is why I thought about it. There's some anxiousness, curiosity, excitement, fear on my part about thinking of going back to school, with different environment.
Well, I'm just tooting here again about me going back to school this Fall. Well, obviously, could be the reason why that I could be seldom being in the Blogosphere for the next couple of months then. But surely, I will be still tooting always, that's for sure!

The Blue Man Fraud

You might heard about "The Blue Man" story, whether on the news or online, but you might be wondering if the cause of being him Blue is true or not? 1. How come we have to put so much effort into keeping our bodies healthy? Has it always been this hard?

~ It is always important to main healthy living. Since, this is our own good too when times comes. When we get older, especially, since this is the time when we could develop possible certain sicknesses and illnesses that comes from when we were still young. To maintain our body healthy it is quite necessary in order to have a happy, longer living. For me, it is quite hard, there's a lot of foods out there that I couldn't even pull away because I don't want to eat them, since they were so fatty, they make me fat or whatever. But they were good and delicious. So, I guess, it became hard when you can't eat what you wanted to eat in order to live healthy. So, maybe, self control will play a big role of it all...

2. Why do you think some people put things like work and 'having nice things' before just being a happy person?

~ Well, you can't be happy if you don't have any money, any food, any shelter to live on, in order to be a happy person as you can't be when you were just having nice things around, you can't just have nice things if you don't work, either, unless, if you don't need to. For me, what makes people to be more happy is that when he lived life to the fullest while taking his butt off to work. Second thing, having a family and friends to share life with, is also the best thing.

3. How come human beings in general are so selfish? Don't you think we should be helping each other out instead?

~ Well, I guess, it is already in human the character of being selfish. Even though, helping others is what your purpose in life, let we say, but still, selfishness could still be there. No one's perfect. Only God is perfect.

My BillsIQ Score is 80%

I went to check my BillsIQ to find out my score is, and the result of My BillsIQ Score is 80%. I think it is somewhat good. I don't have any pending debt right now since I don't have any credit cards yet. Though, I have some difficulties relating to some payments we had right now but as much as possible, we always paid them on time. I never even had to file a bankruptcy. But according to my BillsIQ overall score is that I'm below average based on the gender, education and income resources. Maybe, because I don't have any credit cards that will build up my credit history. For now, I was planning to make more income by going to school for the meantime, just to enhance my education, in order to increase my BillsIQ next time. I think this is a good idea to consider right now.

I don't know why but if I witness something, I would never be asleep on my entire life. I've been watching reality shows, such as Forensic Files, The Investigatior, Cold Files Cases, and some related topic, but if I were at those witnesses place, hmmm...I don't know what I'm going to do. Just scared of the consequences and what if the suspect will try to hunt me! :( Oh well..I hope it will never happen to me! lol!

~ Well, I would still love being me. But if the situation will be reinvent, I would still love having my husband and son, but this time, we're living in a nice house, nice neighborhood and big SUV. And, we're living by the beach....hmmmm....Of course, I'll be a business owner too.

Tooting Time: Saving Money

Shopping here, Shopping there! Shopping everyday, but not for ourselves but for our loved ones, right? Tell me, if I'm wrong with this thought!
Anyway, after I gave birth, and raise, nurture this little one of mine, I found myself, drowned with shopping, either online or offline, and I know it's not a good thing to do so when trying to save some money. But a couple of months ago, I learned to control this freaky feeling of shopping and shopping! Now, I am trying to save some money for future use and no more shopping yet for my boy. Good thing, I don't have a credit card yet! lol!
A few months ago, when summer takes in, my husband and I had been looking for a perfect sandal for my toddler. Though we've found one at JC Penney but this thing turned out sucks! It makes my son's feet stinky whenever my son's feet got sweat. I felt so bad for my little monkey, so I went online and yes, I've spent some little bucks again over with sandal. Kidnappers, Secretly Caught on Video

A Philippine TV network has broadcast videos shot secretly by one of its crews while they were being held by suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits, offering a glimpse into their jungle ordeal including threats to behead one of them. ABS-CBN aired the videos late Sunday in a documentary titled “Kidnap,” partly to help police on Jolo island identify the kidnappers of news anchor Ces Drilon and two cameramen, who were released last month after ransom amounting to millions of pesos was paid. Recounting her 9-day captivity, Drilon said in the documentary she was ready to kill any of her abductors who might have tried to rape her.

Cameraman Jimmy Encarnacion said the kidnappers bound his hands and made him kneel, preparing to behead him as a deadline loomed for the ransom payment. He said he was praying and weeping when the phone rang and the gunmen were told the ransom was on the way.

The three journalists were kidnapped on June 8 while hiking with a local guide in Jolo’s hinterlands in a failed attempt to interview Abu Sayyaf commander Radulan Sahiron. Then, being released after 9 days of captivity.
