Finally Charged!
It's all over Michigan now, about the case of Stephen Grant whom killed his wife Tara Grant last February of 2007 who was being filed missing for 15 days and her husband informed the police, after 5 days of her disappearance ( 5 days, right! It supposed to be 24 hours? right? to let them know!) He has been denying the issue of killing his wife, but in later, police found some evidences that can lead up to him, he vanished but later he was being found and finally confessed through a written confession about killing his wife and dismemberment of her body.
And now, after 10 months of hearing the case, the verdict was issued, Stephen Grant was found guilty with a second degree murder with a chance of parole, which is so upsetting, since he has to be charged with a first degree murder with lifetime imprisonment with no chance of parole. Some people we're not happy with the verdict and yet some were since still, the justice has been served, it would been better than nothing, right?
Being a mom, a woman and a wife, I'm so sad that some people were not afraid of killing their spouses, for such life insurance or for being cheated, or whatsoever, still, it was not fair at all to kill someone, it was not being granted into us to put the justice in our hands. One thing, we didn't own our life, so we don't have the right to take some body's life, either.
In the end, we're the ones to be suffer and so as every every family who grieved from the lost of their loved ones, and for those who being convicted or charged and then spend their life with nothing, life is too short to waste it.
