Mackinaw on Labor Day!
Our photos from the Mackinaw Trip .
Last August 31st we went up north up to September 3rd to Rogers and Mackinaw City, Michigan. We had great time spending it with my hubby's family. We went to visit Mackinaw City on the very last day and we had a great time strolling around, ate to one of the restaurants in the area, a family dining they called so. And then, we went to gift shops and do some shopping.
I saw the Mackinaw Bridge with it's nice breeze of the Lake, I never thought it was a big one! And the Mackinac Island were as the same as Philippines' Samal Island on terms of distance, so why not do a bridge in between Davao City and Samal Island, so people just cross through cars, jeepneys, or take a walk? Probably, it takes a lot of time, plus a budget, well, just a thought but that would be a great idea, plus all those "bangka" will probably lost their income, so maybe it's hard to do so. Anyways, I tried their fudges ice cream, they said they were famous of their fudges, so I tried one, the Mackinac Island Fudge, hmmm..it's yummy! I wanna go back again next time! We wanted to cross the river but it takes time to do so, so maybe next time or so. Hopefully, next year, again! It was a great time!
