I wanted to share my bit of Birthing Story. A very memorable one for me, my first experience of giving birth.

I remembered last January 10, 2007 at 4:20 am I woke up with a slight contractions, so I just went to the rest rooms and peed. I went back to bed but it's getting noticeable, so I went to the living room and sat down at the couch. I went back to rest room again due to nature calls and there I found some blood on the toilet. So hubby woke up and asked me how am I doing, and I said I'm having contractions, I guess and he called my Ob and told them everything. So he told us to go to the hospital where I was registered around 7:20 am we arrived there. By 8am I was lying down on a bed and there they started to put me some craft LOL! needles again! I hate needles! And so, after 3 hours on the bed my dilation was not progressing still 3cm. After an hour of too much pain, I asked for Epidural because I couldn't take it much longer, so they checked me again and I was 4cm best time for me to get an epidural beyond that like 5cm or higher, the Epidural might be lesser to be effective. Thanks for me by reading everything on the Internet! LOL! So, After 16 hours of labour, a very long one, huh! At 6:49pm, I gave birth to a healthy bouncing baby boy Joshua, he's 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 21 inches baby boy. I am so glad that I made it! Everything was good! It was an unforgettable, memorable moments of my life!

My in laws were there, my Ate too, they are very eager to see Joshua. So, after 3 days of being at the hospital we brought back Joshua to our home.
