Ways to Leather Care

Last Christmas, my husband got me the best present ever. He got me a leather purse from my favorite branded handbag manufacturer; I was never been happier until I started using the bag. It was so nice that I’m quite afraid that it might get scratch. Or even get stain. I hope not but all the time I’ve been using the handbag, I always watch and cautious of what I do. I wish I bought leather cleaner too so I could maintain my purse new and beautiful look. But, it was a lot for leather cleaner.

So, I look online of what I could do for cheap yet to maintain the beautiful leather look of my purse. Yet, different type of leather required different type of cleaning technique; therefore, it is really important to know what type leather you might have. If you happen to own a Nubuck leather, you might need a specific way on how to do nubuck leather care against soiling and staining. There are several ways of how to get rid of stains too on a leather material such as ink stains, spills, grease, butter and a lot more.

A Must-Have Baby Carrier!

When I went to my vacation in the Philippines last January of this year, I brought with me Baby Bjorn baby carrier in Air product. It is a carrier which was made for warm, tropical weather. The carrier was made from an advanced, breathable 3D mesh which comforts baby during warm, hot weather and keeps her cool. It is also ergonomic for my child because it properly supports my child’s head, back and hips from birth. I’ve been using it since then. I used it at the airport too. I carried her with it.

Then when I arrived to the Philippines, it’s so useful. I’ve been using it the whole time. Even my mom even loved it because then she doesn’t need to spare a lot of work and energy to carry her granddaughter around. But with the help of a baby carrier, it’s so easy to carry her around. Then, after we used it’s very convenient and lightweight too, it comes with a practical storage bag where I could use for storing it. It is compact when folded and so easy to put in my purse. It looks sturdy and durable. It was nice and I’m so glad I purchased it. I got mine in gray and white mesh.

Now, we’re still using the carrier. My husband loved it too. He can carry our daughter during grocery shopping and strolling in the park. It was so intuitive to use. Our daughter just loves this carrier, it's so much easier to put on and take off, and the head rest holds her head in place so nicely. So, if you have a tiny baby, this is so a must have!

Moving to Kentucky!

A lot of my friends are in thoughts of moving out of the state or out of the city. Most of them actually in the process of doing so, as a matter of fact, one of them are moving out to Florida due to her husband’s work and so as my other friend who moved out all the way to California. I envy them though because they finally had a chance to move out of this cold, wintery state of Michigan. I also was planning to move out too as what my sister in law was planning as well. They’re been saving now in order to move out of the state of Kentucky. I thought what would be in Kentucky has to offer but I heard that it has better weather compare to Michigan, I guess. So, when I found this website online that sells homes for sale louisville ky I bet she might be interested in this one. I can’t wait to share to her. If they moved then we had an excuse to go to Kentucky someday to visit the king of chicken! I never been there but someday I could able to visit the Kentucky Fried Chicken museum.

30th Gifts

Last month during my 30th birthday, I received the best birthday gift ever! I’ve wanted to buy this for myself, but I was hesitant due to the fact that it costs money.  I rather saved my money on something else than buying this DVD. However, I thought of getting this Xbox Zumba DVD for myself but I was not so sure if I will get the Xbox remote because it costs a lot of money. So, I rather just borrow my son’s but of course, I would never have a chance to unless he’s at school.

Anyway, my husband actually got it for me on my birthday! He surprises me one morning, on the day of my birthday. He got me both of them! The latest Zumba DVD and the Xbox remote so I could work out! I’ve wanted to buy this but finally I had them! It’s time to lose some of my belly fat baby! I know a lot of people thought my husband got it for me because he wants me to lose some of my belly fat that looks like donut, but this is what I’ve been telling him that I wanted it. He finally got it on his thinking box!

Well, I was grateful of other gifts I got and some greeting cards I got from my friends as well. I got a Coach purse and a $30 Chili’s gift card from my big sister. I got a $30 LUV nails and spa giftcard from my sisters and brothers in law and a gift from my hubby as well. I was thankful for people that remember me on my special day. I thank God for another year of existence.

Getting New Handles

This summer, my husband and I were planning to change our bedroom’s door knobs because of the old ones we had right now doesn’t have a lock. We somewhat need some privacy now especially when our kids are a little bit older now. So, we might in the end, need to do to change the knobs of our bedroom door. I’m quite excited about it but I don’t know how much it will cost us.

Therefore, I went online to check some door knobs online, I saw some of it at very affordable prices too. I think a door knob with lock is much better too just in case we need to lock our door whenever we will have a party at home. You know to keep the kids out from the room. I also thinking of getting my husband’s drawers new plastic handles because the old ones he had was already broken apart. I need some new ones too. It is just when the drawers are being used for years, there some tendency when the knobs are getting worn out. So, I think I have to check on it now and replace them.

Weekend Getaway with Family

Last week, my husband’s work has a yellow ribbon. It is a seminar which was given to family and the servicemen after they were being deployed and vice versa. It is very relevant because it is all about how parents and being a couple facing life’s trials in the midst of being separated for months or even years. It is the way for spouses to rekindle what they had been left off and how to take back everything. It is hard as a wife, being left alone with two kids while my husband was deployed. I was quite multitasking the whole time. I think that’s what I have to do to survive I guess.

Anyway, this seminar really helped me a lot. I learned that at their job all they do is to do their job. I also badly miss my husband. I cried a lot during those times but surprisingly I survived. Last time, my husband and my son went to Great Wolf Lodge all the way in Traverse City, MI. I was in the Philippines during those times, so I didn’t have the chance to come. But, this time, I had to. We went to Grand Rapids, MI for what they say, 30-day posts, and 60-day posts. I don’t know what that really means, but I had a good time. We stayed at Amway Grand Hotel. It was fun. I guess.

Well, we only been there for one night and we headed home after the whole day of seminar. We had a great time being away from home for a while. Next time, I don’t know when but I hope it would be somewhere fun and nicer too. I wish it could be somewhere in an outdoor event because the weather here in Michigan is getting better this week though. I think summer is approaching soon.

Celebrating my 30th Birthday

Last two weeks ago, we celebrate my 30th birthday at one of my favorite restaurant, Romano’s Macaroni Grill. I had my first indulgence at this restaurant during my mother in law’s birthday, although, she passed away last year, but still we remember her as the way she is. She loves Italian food and so it is a nice thing to remember her that way.

Anyway, during my 30th birthday, my sisters in law and their husbands are with us. My husband and my kids are also there. It was just a small get together for my birthday.  It was special to me though. I wish I could able to celebrate it with my friends as well. I had a good time though. I had the best lobster ravioli at Romano’s. It was so delicious and the best! I would definitely go back for more!

Well, I got gifts too from my sister and sisters in law.  I will share it to my other website at The Shopaholic Diary. Visit me there to learn more about it, if it’s interesting to you.  This is it! I’m 30 now. Some people said it is a new 20! I’m getting older now! I hate this, but this is life…oh well…
