Small Talk Six: Better Than....

This week on Small Talk Six topic is is “6 reasons why your online friends are better than your real life ones.”

Well, I would still consider my real life friends better than online friends, why? Since I could feel more intimate friendship than those whom I met online. They are just "friends" whom I could talk whenever I was bored or something.

But I have reasons too:

1. I could talk to them whenever I want to. Since they were all available online then I could easily talk to them and share what was going on.

2. I am not a talker and hugger in real life but I find online friends just stationary, you know you don't need to pamper them or pay attention to them so they won't feel being ignored or something.

3. I don't really like to go out with bunch of friends around, so I guess being online with friends is much easier and convenient.

4. It is nice to meet friends who came from other parts of the country and even other part of the US. Since whenever you travel on that particular state, you can have a friend to meet up with and may be became real friends.

5. I have face book and most of the people on my list is not actually my real friends, but it helped me to gain more friends. So, online friends can be fun sometimes to have someone to be your neighbor at games.

6. Lastly, I could ask honest opinion about some specific things from my online friends...

Road Accidents

Last week, I was stunned with patrol cars and police cars nearby; I thought there must be an accident again. I was right. There was an accident where the car fell on a ditch and the driver was killed. I don’t know how it was happened but I was just reading it on the local newspaper this week. The guy wasn’t drunk at all, maybe he was trying to get away with another car and then he drove downhill all the way to the ditch. Then, another accident happened again where an old man was walking along the side of the street and get struck by a car and he died. I thought this is unusual, two accidents in a row, sounds creepy eh? Well, I saw the car by the ditch and some auto body yorba linda shop was probably pulling it out since there’s a towing car there too who helped some people to get the car out from the ditch. It was sad to hear about this news and it just too ridiculous since some drivers never learned about it, still speeding and just doesn’t care. Well, let see what will happen next time.

Affordable and yet Elegant Neck Ties for Men

I’ve been looking for new neck ties for my husband to use at work but unfortunately I couldn’t find what I was looking for at very affordable price. We don’t need to buy expensive neck ties as long as he has lots of neck ties to choose from and wear whenever he wanted to, to fit his polo shirts. So, I went online and I have found some mens ties at Ties Necktie. All their neck ties were made with real silk and 40% up to below retail prices. I thought of giving two or three to my brother too. I was so glad that I have found a website where I could find an affordable and yet elegant neck ties for men. If you want to check this out, hurry now and enjoy while saving money.

So Sick and...

Yes, you read the title of my post right. I was sick with sore throat and I hate it. I never expected that I would get sick since it is almost spring time now and I don't think I could but I did. We went to an outdoor mall last weekend, we stroll even though it is not so warm outside. It was about 50F and I thought it was a nice weather to walk with out coat on. After about an hour, we went home and later that night, I feel soreness on my throat and that's where it all started.

It's been two days now and I hate it. Every time I swallowed, it was burning, so glad we bought a sore throat lozenges right away. It makes me feel good but it was still there. I wish it will get over soon, so I could do what I have to do, doing my homework, studying for my exam this coming Thursday, to be at the Ladies Night together with the family, and to enjoy the rest of my spring break next week. I hate being sick when I had a chance to enjoy.

Anyway, it's time to go now, I still have class tonight that I don't need to miss.

Living in a Tropical Place

This week's question is for I Want...Wednesday:

Where do you want to live (and why)? = Before I came here in US, I wanted to live here. At that time, I dreamed that if I will live here in US, it will be a nice place, especially with snow and polluted free environment. But, after almost five years of living in here, I got bored and been missing my old life, my old place that I've known since I was born. It was my country Philippines, it is a tropical country, very warm, and I also missed the food. I am not saying that I don't want to live in here, my family is here, the people I loved. But, if I will make a choice, I rather live in the Philippines and enjoy being with my family and friends.

What else do you want this week? Share it all.

- Well, I wanted to do a lot of things this coming weekend such as cleaning the house, do some household chores, doing my homework, study and review my upcoming exam, and spend time with my family as well. I know I can't do them all at once, so I wish I could do even two or three of these.

Fond of Decorations

Lately, I have found an online game to play with during my spare time and it is on face book. I’ve been a Facebook member for almost two years now and I did not know that there are tons of online games you can enjoy aside from being a member and meeting new friends. That’s where I’ve found out about café world, an online game where you can cook and decorate your own café or kitchen and share it to others. It was fun and I had so much eagerness and patience to decorate the cafe as well. I also found wide selection of wall decorations such as wall sconces, wall lamps, lanterns, wall lights, and so much more. It was really a fun game.

Now I’m thinking what if, I can make my own real life café; it would be interesting because I will decorate it beautifully and would never be a boring restaurant. I wish my husband could read this post and will give a better thought about this. Well, what do you think?
